Little Big Radio
Picked this portable radio as a gift for my sister. It's a cute little radio with AM/FM function, which is what my sister most listens to. The radio is pretty simple to function but everything, besides the side dial, is all functioned through buttons, in fact, you don't even have to use the dial if you just scan for the stations.Pros: easy button push for all the functions, large display, dial for small incremental tuning, USB-C charging port, loudspeaker, built-in audio recorder, wrist loop, headphones/aux out, small sizeCons: when the radio is turned on volume level is reset to a louder-than-average levelOverall, it's a pretty good AM/FM radio with the addition of a voice recorder and a loud little speaker. If you're looking for a small portable radio that can be recharged without needing new batteries, this is a good option.

Feature Packed Compact Portable Radio
This review is for the Benss Portable AM/FM Radio with built-in bluetooth capability. This is a feature packed radio that is USB chargeable and can use a micro SD card to record and playback audio. There is also a alarm and sleep function. Inside the box you have the radio, a charging cable, a wrist strap, and small guide.Pros:- The instructions are very readable and in large print unlike most instruction sheets these days.- With a memory card inserted, you can record directly from the radio station or you can record using the built-in microphone.- It can play various formats of pre-recorded music if loaded onto the SD memory card.- Very small footprint (about 2 3/4"x1"x4 3/4") which makes it great for travel, camping or hiking.- Impressive battery life - I used the radio while working on an all day plumbing project and I never needed to recharge.- The radio can auto-scan for active channels and save them to memory which is nice if you are unfamiliar with the channels in the area.Cons:- This device can get pretty loud and you can adjust the volume from 0-30. However when you first power it on it defaults to volume level 20 which is very loud. I would prefer that it remembered the previous volume setting.- This is a minor issue but I would have preferred that the leading zero be eliminated in the clock mode for the 1-9 o'clock times. I would rather see 9:10 AM versus 09:10 AM.- After using the auto-scan for channels feature you tend to get a lot of static type channels. To eliminate the unwanted channels is a bit tedious process.- The FM channels seemed to fade pretty easily - almost like the pull out antenna wasn't working. It took a while to adjust to get the best signal. I mainly tried this inside my house so if I was in an outdoor situation it might have worked better.I did notice a small quirk - when attached to my cell phone via bluetooth there was an indication of the radio battery life at 10%. This shows up regardless of the actual battery status of either device. This didn't affect the performance but just a bit weird.Overall I really like this radio and plan to take it with me next time I go fishing to a remote area where my cell phone has no coverage. I'll use it to tune in some distant AM stations for news and to play pre-recorded music from the SD card. It is also a nice size to carry when I'm going on walks around the block.

Excellent little radio jam packed with featuress
This is a superb little radio with great sound and mad features. It is remarkably compact, about the size of a cassette tape I would say. It has a multiple of useful features some of which are not typically found on your run of the mill radios. The digital interface and tuning is and bright. It has the ability to play micro sd cards, record audio(live & from radio), has a alarm featue, a 3.5mm headphone jack, a button lock, and is a available in a choice of c attractive colors. The 17hr playback it offers on a 3 hr charge via its USB C port is noteworthy as well. I must admit that I was a little concerned by the somewhat crypticly worded recommendation in the included manuel, cautioning one against leaving it plugged in for plugged in even a short while after it was finished charging, I believe it stated that it could result in a surprise of somesort, and I don't think it would be a pleasant or good one but I'm not really sure. Aside from that sort of weird, slighty concerning, but ultimately confusing statement regarding the battery of the device I am quite happy with it.

Tiny Adorable, Working Radio
I wanted to bring a radio to work that I could leave at the office. I previously got a soldering iron and I wanted to test this out on a project. It had been a radio and it was my first radio. I absolutely loved it and I wanted one that I could use while working in the office.Unlike the first radio that I got this one had a headphone jack, so I wouldn’t disturb my coworkers while listening to music. It’s very easy to work and is very clear. I honestly have no complaints.

Awesome little radio
Surprisingly very loud for it's little size and easy to setup. USB so makes a good bug out radio for the car, backpack, or any other mobile situation where you want to have a radio with a long life, and can be charged up off your 5VDC USB sockets also. Received all the local channels well and has some extra functions on it for SC Cards and other stuff which I'll never use. We're in tornado alley so it's important to have a few mobile radios in case you got to get in the shelter and listen to weather updates. We have a hand crank one, but it sucks and always goes in and out. This thing I slapped around a bit and it didn't reset or anything. I'd recommend it.

Impressive
I expected a flimsy plastic device but was pleasantly surprised by the quality. It's sturdy, feels solid for something so small. Came fully charged. The buttons are rubberized and easy to press despite being so small and close together. Picked up am/fm channels without any issues. I'm still discovering all it can do but I love it! I got it for garden work. When I disappear in my garden for hours I hate using my phone because it gets drained fast and gets dirty. This is the solution I've been looking for. It's also pretty loud so you don't have to worry about the sound getting drowned out outside. LOVE IT!

Awkward to set up
Instructions on set up not that clear but am 77 so maybe it’s me, smaller than expected but I suppose it is pocket size, sound is reasonable for its size. Haven’t worked out blue tooth yet. For price it’s ok.

Don't switch this on if you're sitting next to someone with a bad heart - it starts loud
There is no way I have managed to have the volume at an acceptable level: the sound quality is good - but I can't reduce the volume, poor dog runs off whimpering when I have switched it on (truly) - maybe one of you geniuses out there can help me?

Impressive Multi-Functional Radio Player
The media could not be loaded. I recently acquired this multi-functional radio player, and I must say, I'm truly impressed with its features and performance.First and foremost, its compact and lightweight design makes it highly portable, and ideal for on-the-go use. What's even better is that it comes with a built-in rechargeable battery, and it includes a USB cable for charging. Notably, it uses a USB-C port, a modern and convenient choice. The included lanyard is a practical addition, making it easy to carry the radio around, especially during outdoor activities. When it comes to sound quality, the speaker delivers clear and enjoyable audio, ensuring a pleasant listening experience. However, I do recommend taking the time to read the instruction manual thoroughly and practising the various functions before using the radio, as it can be a bit tricky to operate initially. One standout feature is the presence of an SD card slot (SD card not included), which allows for MP3 playback and recording capabilities. You can use it to record both voice and radio programs, which adds versatility to its use.The only drawback I've found is the limited information displayed on the LCD screen, particularly when it comes to music details. In summary, this multi-functional radio player is an excellent choice for those who still appreciate traditional radio but also want the added benefits of Bluetooth connectivity, an MP3 player, and a recorder. It offers a range of useful features and has certainly earned my recommendation.

More features than expected and decent enough sound
The media could not be loaded. I got this for myself to use at my craft fairs - sometimes they can be long and boring so thought would be ideal for some light entertainment.I wasn't expecting too much from it, especially when I took it out the box and saw how small it was but it's surprisingly good! It's very well made and has an extendable aerial at the back. The main reason for getting this is because it's rechargeable so I can use it where there is no electricity supply - it comes with a charging cable supplied and you can see the battery level on the digital display. There's loads of features - sleep function and alarms, play your own music from a micro sd card, record etc and the instructions are well written and easy to follow.Love the auto tune function (long press the tune button) and it saves all the channels so you just need to cycle through them using the Mem/Del button.Really pleased with the functionality and quality of this.
