This was super simple, albeit slightly frustrating, to put together. The shelves are smaller than I anticipated, but I did not look at the measurements prior to purchasing. Very sturdy.

Love it. Able to sit and take shoes off, over shoes every where.

Update. Recommend two people assemble. The item looks lovely just some frustration in the early state.Arrived on time. Nicely packed. Straightforward instructions. Haven’t gotten far as three dowels have broken so far. I’ve never in all my years assembling, disassembled, and reassembling bookshelves, office desks etc had dowels break. I have had to use a drill to remove the broken pieces from the holes. Again never in all my years has this ever happened to me. I cannot recommend this item.

This shoe stool is really great. You can put your shoes and sit and change shoes. I am also very satisfied with the size. It is easy to install and does not take up space.

It’s your average ikea quality. We needed it for a garage shoe storage, but it’s soooo small! You can see in the picture its height is under my knee! And I’m 5’3”… My husbands size 11 shoes doesn’t fit in all the way. I wanted to put our shoes inside boxes so spiders and other garage creatures wouldn’t get inside our shoes. But it doesn’t accommodate the boxes as well as I’d like. It doesn’t work for our needs. We’ll have to build our own mudroom shoe bench/storage. Will return or maybe turn it vertically and use it in the basement
