These all weather mats are great for the 2023 for explorer. Zero fitment issues and the thickness of the mats makes them even better. You need to remove the stock carpet mat on the drivers side, to utilize the clips that keep the mat secure from any movement. The passenger and rear seats can have the stock carpet mats either removed or left installed without any issue to the fitment of the new all weather mat. Great gift idea, but also a necessity if you live in the northeast. This set offers great reliable protection against snow, ice, salt, dirt, mud and rain water. Definitely would recommend these mats.
