These little boats are beasts. At first I didn't have much control, was frustrating to drive slow, since speed was dangerous. The battery is a pain to seat properly in the deep corner, but it really does do a lot for your stability and steering. So, after adjusting trims, adjusting the rudder to thr other hoke, adding extra movement to the steering on top of the transmitter.. It was now turning into something manageable and fun.NOTE: Wall collision will break the front plastic tab holding the motor. The motor slides forward and the prop will cease to spin, after a few good hits. It's an easy fix to slide the motor back to its spot, and silicone the motor in all 4 corners. While you have the silicone out, yank the plastic tubes, and silicone those hole too.So, if you've made it this far, let me say if you can make a few tweaks these are a solid bang for the buck.To those that are rc hobbyists.. I added some jst plugs to the battery so I can run a 800mah lipo battery, run times are now incredible, and I can use a standard rc battery charger, and skip the long wait using the USB charger that's included. Included a picture that shows all the mods. Hope this helps.

We are having so much fun with this boat. We love that it came with two batteries so you can charge one while you're using the other one. It beeps for about 30 seconds straight if it senses that the battery is about to run out, so you have time to bring it back in. We risks probably getting the boat about 200 feet from us and we noticed that the reception seems to go right about then. So you can't go very far but still, a lot of fun for the price! A great gift for boys

This works great, easy to control and use. Only issue is the battery life is pretty short.

Complete garbage. Boat was fast and fun but after two weeks there were rust all over the engine and the shaft no longer spins. Just a humming sound. We only used it in our fresh water pool but noticed that water got inside the hill from day 1. The manual even mentioned this as a possibility, but not a defect.Complete garbage and ready to occupy another landfill in America. :-(

Very fun for adults and kids. Prop does get clogged with debris. Overall good value for the price

Looks great, runs good. Make sure to dry throughout after each use or it will not run next time you want to play with the boat.

I purchased this boat for my nephew's birthday, and it's been a huge hit! He and his brother have been playing with it non-stop. We even adjusted the power so they could safely use it in the pool, and it provided endless entertainment. Plus, we took it to the lake and used it while out on a boat, adding to the fun and adventure. Highly recommend it for any young boat enthusiasts!

Wow, did he love this for his birthday, it was in the pool within minutes, until the battery charge it came with ran down. It is a bit fast for the pool but is should be great in the pond, a bigger place to run it full speed. It is by far the fastest of these type radio controlled boats we've ever seen, certainly much faster than his previous version. He'll have a blast with it.

This boat is faster than I expected. The battery lasts about 15 minutes. This might be normal that’s the only reason I gave it a 4 star for battery life.

Unfortunately we tried it for the first time last week after getting it for my son for Christmas and the gear inside stripped immediately. We had about 8 minutes of fun and then it was game over. Much too expensive for this to happen.

I felt bad that our grandson could only operate the boat for approx. 10 min. And had to recharge. 😞😞

Broken right out of the package. Didn’t even get to use it once. This was Santa’s gift to my son and because I ordered it a month and a half ago, returning isn’t an option. Bummed out 8 year old.
