Seem solid. Easy install.
They sure seem solid. Hope I don’t ever have to put them to the test from a trailer coming unhooked but confident they’ll hold up. Big help with Fords dumb design for how to hook up chains

Works great on F250
After reading some of the reviews, I wasn't sure if these would come with the cotter pin (shown in pics) or the hammer in pin (some reviews talked about). Mine came with the cotter pin. I prefer that. Very easy install. There will be no stress on the cotter pin, so I'm not worried about that. Yes, I bent the cotter pins. I chose not to use the little plastic "bumpers". Some of my trailer safety chain hooks wouldn't work with them on. I haven't tried them on all my trailers yet, but most seem to work fine, unlike with just the Ford hitch holes. Crazy that Ford makes them like they do & doesn't have a solution. I chose black so they blend in. I know they probably rattle a bit, but I can't hear them in the cab at all. Good product.

Nicely built coonectors
These are really solid connectors and look great, but we threw out the plastic paint savers because the trailer chains won’t fit around them

Work great on GM hitches when a trailer has smaller hooks
One of our three trailers has smaller hooks on the safety chains. These work great for this smaller hooks and I don’t need to, but still run a larger shackle through the bottom for the larger hooks (never know when you’ll need an extra shackle!).

Solid construction, but paint is thin and chips very easy
Paint chipped off around pin when taking apart to install. No more than it took to chip it, i cant imagine it holding up to safety chains very long. Would Have thought paint would be powder coated or better yet cerakoted. Will do job but will be rusted in 3 moths for sure

Good solution to Ford's too -tight hitch slots
My F250 has a design flaw - the openings in the hitch structure for safety chains are positioned so that the angle iron is too wide for most chain hooks. I tried different ways of routing the hook, but none were satisfactory. My brother got these for his truck and I thought it was a good solution. They're a little wonky to put on, but once on they should stay. I've used them to tow and the easy means to connect the chain hooks is very welcome. I could've used a carabiner type spring hook, but I wanted something black to match and that couldn't be easily swiped. Success!

Nice but give me larger caughter pins
Nice but give me larger caughter pins. These are removed after towing and I took the little pins they give you and threw them out. Give me larger pins that are simple to remove. Thats why you get a 3 star!!
