Incredible for the price.
I was honestly very impressed (nearly floored) when I opened it up and saw this thing. It's a beautiful banjo and appears to be extremely well-made. It was not anywhere near in tune, but that was sort of expected. The accessories are OK, but I immediately got new finger picks and used my Snark tuner instead of what was included. The soft case isn't even all that bad...not sure how well the zippers will hold up, but it was much thicker than lightly padded. Now, I am a beginner and none of this made me play better, or at all, for that matter. I can only say that I'm very happy this is what I spent money on to learn with!

Good beginner or trial banjo
If you don't own a banjo and want to try one out without paying for a fancy one, this will do the trick. It's far from high quality, but still sounds pretty good, and you can't beat the price. The strings are rather cheap, but they won't break on you, and you can easily find good quality strings for $10 that'll significantly improve the sound. As far as feel, the neck is a little heavy, so it tends to dive when not supported and wear out your arm if you play for extended periods of time. The strap that came with it is a little rough, so maybe look into getting a nicer one if you're worried about it.The travel case is surprisingly really nice. It's rather thick and protective, and the carrying straps aren't uncomfortable at all. It's fairly easy to get the banjo in and out as well.It also comes with some plastic finger picks, an electric tuner, a stick on amp connection, and some replacement cheap strings. The picks were too small for my average size adult male hands, and one was straight while the other was curved. I ended up getting some different metal picks that I much prefer. The tuner works well enough. As someone who is not the most familiar with perfectly tuned notes, it's much more accurate than tuning by ear; though, for some reason it reads my third string (which is a G) as a D which it most certainly isn't, so not the best, but it works as well as I need it to. I haven't bothered trying the amp connection, so I have nothing to say on that, and the replacement strings are the same as the ones that come on it.Overall, if you're interested in banjo and want a cheap one to find out if you like it or not, this is probably your best bet. Great product for the price, and it's pretty good looking for not being "fancy." Sounds great if you get some good strings, but not the best if you're planning to play it in a band setting. Hope I was able to give some helpful insight!

Great sounding student banjo
This banjo is so much fun to play. It sounds great, the frets are even, and the intonation is perfect. The neck is very straight and the tuning hardware works well. Comes with a bag and all of the accessories you need!!

Wrong strap
As far as the banjo, it’s great! But, they send a guitar strap instead of banjo strap which makes no sense. Now one must buy a different strap. Why did they even bother to put a strap if it was wrong kind.
