The media could not be loaded. My first drone was the VEENIIX V11 mini. So upgrading to the Veeniix V11 was a no brainier.My previous experience with Veeniix as a complete newbie to drones and their customer service made my upgrade an easy choice.The V11 is digital and hooks directly to your phone so no more messing with wifi, a nice steady video stream. It's also remote id compliant so no strapping on a bulky add on device to stay FAA compliant. It does need to be registered but the instructions make it easy.It has a level 6 wind rating that's somewhere right around 25+ mph winds. I haven't had it up in anything close to that but it holds steady in a hover. It has the standard 3 speeds. Stable, normal and sport.The app interface is easy to understand and allows for several programmed features such as follow me, point of interest and way points.I haven't tried flying it indoors (I don't trust me) lolBut the gps is able to be turned off.Charging the batteries is typical wait times. 11.1 volt 3500 ma normal charger was about 3 1/2ish hoursBut are able to be fast charged. I believe it's 15 watt fast charge.I am so happy someone put out a drone with some color to it. This thing is beautiful. And I can't wait to actually get over the flying it and slow down enough to get some great photos. The camera is mounted on a gimble and even someone as sloppy on the controller as me can take some amazing pictures.I only have a short time on this drone and will update the review over the next week or so. I would absolutely recommend this drone and the great support team you get with itUpdate::: Everything has been great many flights on this drone now. This thing just eats the wind I was afraid to fly in the wind at first. Now it would take a pretty strong wind for me not to fly it.The hovering ability is off the charts you can actually see the drone lean into the wind to hold positioning.The camera gimble makes even windy videos clear and smooth. You can not tell when you start moving the drone.

The media could not be loaded. I absolutely love this drone. I was expecting a good drone, but it exceeded my expectations in every way. I'm so excited about it and just love flying it. My son-in-law loves it too and wants one for himself, so win-win. He can burn up his own battery time, ha!The drone comes beautifully packaged in a great case, so just opening the thing up tells you there's some care and quality behind this product. The app downloaded quickly and easily, and I was off ready to fly in no time.The remote control is a thing of beauty too - it's simple enough to just use it, but has lots of features on it. The way it holds my phone between the rubber bumpers is snug and I'm super comfortable with it there.The first thing that struck me when flying was how stable the drone is. It's really steady in the air. That makes it so simple to control. This morning when I took it out there was a ~5mph breeze and you couldn't even notice it. I'm sure it'll be great it much stiffer winds too.I really wanted a drone that I could fly for some distance, so about the first thing I did was point it west and just fly. I went about 3/4 of a mile without any glitches in the controls or the camera transmission. I could have gone further, but that's as far as I wanted to go that direction. I haven't run it out as far as it'll go yet, but I will soon! In sport mode, it flies about 30fps, which is zipping along pretty good. This morning I had it GPS follow me while I took the 4-wheeler on a little spin through the hayfield, and it performed beautifully. Landings are silky smooth.The camera is amazing. Once set, it's crisp and clear. Takes a little bit to focus when turning or raising or lowering it, but that's to be expected. The gimbal is absolutely marvelous and holds the camera perfectly level when turning, no matter how sharp I've turned it. It just doesn't really shake at all. I don't know how they did that, but they did.I can't say enough good things about this drone. I'm so happy I bought it. Definitely worth the price. The customer service I've gotten from Veeniix has been amazing too. This is clearly a company that loves their product, stands behind it, and wants their customers to enjoy their drones. I'm certainly a happy customer. Highly recommend!Addition: I took it out on the lake tonight. So fun. I’ve run it out to 6200ft away before losing connection. It’s hard to find a clear line of sight any further than that here but I’m plenty happy with that.
