I needed some cushions to renew my old but still serviceable pullout couch before my knee surgery, since I was going to be spending a lot of time on it. these cushions are a much better deal--and a better use of your energy--than trying to cut them out of a foam piece yourself, which I've already tried, with the exact right amount of firmness. there were some complaints about this, but for my Goldilocks need, they were just right. I did need to reuse the cotton batting from the old cushions to wrap around them to fill up the corners, but otherwise they fit perfectly into my cushion covers, and I can get up from them with minimal effort and strain. it's possible I miscalculated that extra 1"all around of the fit of the old cushions, easy to do, but the original batting was reusable and made up for the difference. there was no chemical smell and they puffed up in 24 hours after delivery. all in all, perfect for reconditioning your couch if you don't require squishy cushions. I'm betting they'll hold up much better than the last ones and will give my couch many more years of use. for sure, they'll see me through the other knee replacement and then some before my 4 cats finally destroy all my furniture and we have to get an entirely new set. it's part of the deal I made, nice things or cats (you can substitute dogs, kids, etc.) again, depends on whether you want to live in a beautiful museum or share your life with creatures who give hot & cold 24/7 unconditional love and companionship, but make your life and all your stuff Real (see The Velveteen Rabbit.) stuff is always replaceable, however, especially couch cushions.

I ordered this with high hopes after carefully measuring my existing cushions. Received the new one and was disappointed to see it will not fit my cushion covers and it was way too soft to stand up to couch usage. When sat in it to see if I could try to make it work somehow, I sank down more than the cushion I’m replacing. Sadly returning and back to my search.

Was very easy to install because it came compressed. Was able to put in the couches cushion cover before it expanded.This cushion is extremely firm. Almost like a foam block

My couch died as far as cushion softness over a year ago. I got different cushions and stacked them to make it reasonably comfortable. Even they depressed and I could feel the couch metal structure underneath me. I found this and it was like buying a new couch without buying one. It is just the right amount of firm to soft ratio and it doesn't create pressure that hurts. It's nice to finally be comfortable. I gave the other cushions to my dog. Now we are all comfy. Don't hesitate to buy this! You will be so happy.

Recommend these for people with kids and pets that stain ur couch, these are easy to put into the couch cover after washing and have new cushion!! Brings life back to an everyday couch!!

I like how I could cut this easily to fit my couch cushion. I only bought one just to test it out and I like how firm it is. Will be buying 2 more.

24x24x6 is not as advertised. Foam is only 5". Even if you include the attached batting it's still only 5.5" at best. Batting is only applied to top and bottom surfaces with no wrap around any of the edges and it's very poorly affixed to the foam. It's unfortunate because the foam density is spot on for the couch cushions I'm replacing, but the incorrect size makes it worthless.
