The packaging is not very protective.
2 of my racks were crushed when I unpacked them. The directions for assembly are not clear at all. Over all the rack will be ok for what I need. I was able to bend out the damaged pieces to use but better packing would prevent this issue. It takes 2 people to assemble the rack.

Amazon Big Box Shipping Sucks
I would recommend this magazine rack, but you’re probably going to get a damaged product such as mine was. I understand it’s not the manufacturer’s fault, but the box arrived at my house DEMOLISHED. Other than that, assembly was easy and has an overall great design.

Damaged
As others have said, the item arrived damaged. The metal is very soft and can be bent by hand. The packing box was not damaged, so items are being shipped with smushed shelves. This item is not worth $140.
