great quality, easy assembling
Very good quality product with extremely easy instructions! Assembly was a breeze for my teenage son and I, but it does take 2 simply due to the size of the bed. It was delivered right on time, too. The biggest challenge was that it is really heavy and comes in a very large package... I'm a petite 56 yr old woman with a back injury, so I had to wait until my son came home from school to help get it inside, and even then we struggled a little. The package was really long and couldn't fit around the corner of the stairs so we dragged it into the living room, and with each step in the instructions, we carried the pieces we needed up the stairs then completed the step before moving on to the next steps and bringing more parts upstairs. It's good that it's heavy though because it makes it very stable when climbing up and down the steps. My son is 15 yrs old and he is a big tall kid weighing about 200lbs and this works out great for him (though it helps that we have high ceilings). It's amazing how much more space he has in his room for all of his gaming stuff now! As his mom, I like that it motivates him to keep his room more tidy... he has all these lights on it and it looks really cool, so he is taking a great deal of pride in his "new" space! yay! It's very well worth the money and I admit I am a bit jealous and want one myself!

I bought two of these and this is my experience.
I’m a single mom of twin boys who share a room. I got these hoping to give them their own space in their room which it has definitely done. I had a friend help me put these together which you absolutely need. I wouldn’t have been able to do it by myself. Let me start off by saying they are great beds and decent quality. The tools it comes with could be better as when tightening the hardware the wrench tends to wear down. The directions are frustrating. The images in the instruction booklet can be so confusing and could use improvement. The first bunk took about 5 hours to put together and the second one took about 3 1/2 as we kinda got the hang of it by then. The ONLY thing I would change about the bed itself would be the steps on the ladders. They are not set in place and are loud, incredibly thin and painful to step on. I had to spend more money on this feature to make them more comfortable to step by adding a foam wrap on to them but it doesn’t change the clanking sound. Why are they so loose? I considered getting separate ladders to attach to the beds but that’ll have to wait. I shouldn’t have to do that, but I just might. My kids are enjoying their new beds tho and I added some mini clip on fans to the side railing for when they sleep as the fan in the room doesn’t reach up to the top of the beds. I also added a clip on shelf/tray so they can keep some water up there and any books/electronics. A bonus is that this bunk comes in a full size. I’m 5’11” and comfortably slept in it one night. Giving it a 4 star rating.

You will need at least two people to put this together
This bed is solid. My son's room is on the smaller side so we switched him from his normal bunk bed to this loft bed to give him more space.Putting it together is fairly easy but will require two people. I do not recommend using a screw gun or impact driver on the hex screws because they are soft and malleable which can lead to stripped screw heads. Use the hex took that comes in the kit. It will take a little but longer but you will have no issues with stripped hex heads when disassembling it is required. The instructions are not the greatest. It is hard to tell in the pictures which way some of the posts and poles are supposed to go. You may get one part installed and realize there is a screw hole needed for assembly later that needs to be turned around. Patience is the key to assembling this bed. What we found easier was to assemble the bed first. Once that is done, work on the bottom part. Then lift it and set it on the bottom support beams as you line up the screw holes. This required the help of my wife and my oldest son in order to get it right. Once it is up there and screwed in the rest is fairly simple. As frustrating as it is to install, it is worth it for the sturdiness and quality of the bed. Would recommend 10/10.

Sturdy, affordable bed
Got this for my 12 year old. She absolutely loves it. It's more sturdy than I expected for under $200. We're very happy with it. Great for teens. Gives her room for a desk she wouldn't otherwise have.

This is not what you are looking for.
Make sure you invite a few friends over to help you assemble this. The metal slats were a nightmare to put in. Very wobbly after assembly and we went back and drilled everything as tight as possible. The desk part is bowing with a normal sized monitor in it. If you landed on this item and thought “ oh wow, this is a great deal!” Then I would suggest you continue your search because you are dead wrong.

Sturdy
Very sturdy, love the extra space it makes in the room, and the desk and shelves are handy, too.

Slightly difficult assembly, great loft option otherwise
The only reason I'm giving this 3 stars is because the assembly was a bit difficult (things did not line up correctly), and the rungs rattle. Note that the rungs are very uncomfortable to use - we added adhesive foam made for loft bed stairs in order to make them usable. Bed is great otherwise - desk area is so roomy and nice!

Cute but the assembly...geez
I build most stuff for my house & this has been the hardest so far! The instructions are terrible! Just pictures & all are not the clearest! If you can have more than one person put it together that's best. If your tall it will be easier too. I was just me & I'm short. The next day I was so sore! I scratched the crap out of it trying to get it up right. Tips: when putting the bed bars "box spring" bars, screw one end loosely together first though thats not what instructions say. Then one at a time slowly adding each bar. Don't forget middle bar. 2-3 people for assembly. Buy cushiony things for side rail & ladder or it's painful.I does add more space! It wobbles or moves when on top but still a good buy.
