This Model is not designed to work in the United States
After days of messaging with my cell provider and emailing an Alcatel representative, I learned that this particular model from Alcatel is not designed to work in the United States. The one star is for lack of service, it's not a bad little phone, but I am returning it because to me it is useless unless I move to China
