I have had a positive experience with this brand before so I chose the adapter when I finally went mirrorless to bring over all my old lenses from my SLR. These adapters done have glass in them so you don’t have to worry about that quality. The electronic pass through is fine and all of the autofocus and other functions still work great. Seems pretty durable. I am using it with several lenses across two different cameras (r6mii and r100) both work great. It works with both EF and EF-S lenses and even works for using advanced functions via canon’s apps like the macro focus stacking. (Tested with the Ef-s 60mm macro)

Works perfectly. Lens is nice and secure.

Took a gamble and it paid off. Was worried about the lack of reviews but everything fits snugly together. All my old ef lens now fit and take pictures like before on my R50 now.

Everything works and the price is great!Only it is a bit loose, ie. you can twist a bit left and right.

I have a Canon R and R7, I wanted an adaptor for each. I have the Canon adapter and have been using to a few years with the R. I recently got the R7 and decided to try this adaptor. It works perfectly, as well as the Canon. I've used the Neewer adapter on both the R and R7 with Canon EF lenses, Sigma DC and FF lenses, and Tokina FX lenses. They all function perfectly.

Do yourself the favor, buy these instead of the Canon ones!! I have used the Canon ones and the experience for me has been identical. Same fit and features. Why spend 5 times more? Do it.

First time using this on a shoot the mount adaptor would not allow the lens to function. It would just keep blinking MF in the upper left corner. This happened mid wedding shoot while in use. Thankfully I had other lenses that worked with this camera as well as a camera with the correct mount for the lens (both the camera and lens are fully functioning) I even tested different lenses on the mount adapter to ensure it was the issue. I tried cleaning contacts and even inspected it once home to see if there were any viewable issues, but there wasn't.TLDR don't depend on this for professional work. And if you do ensure you have contingency plans in place.

This is a very well-made adapter however, it would not out of auto focus. With that said, I had to return it.

Si no hay presupuesto para lentes de la serie R, este adaptador es muy bueno, excelente conexión de los pines, no me ha dado ningún problema. No se siente flojo al usar lente EF o EF-S

I use this with all my ef lenses on my r7, it fits nice and firm doesn't feel cheap and the af works well with it, definitely recommend as a cheaper alternative to the Canon version.

Da der Original Canon Adapter nicht lieferbar war, kam dieser Adapter ins Haus. Passt sehr gut (wenn auch ein wenig Druck nötig ist) und hat keine Probleme mit Canon EF & Sigma Objektiven auf meine R6mk2. Später habe ich das Original mit Ring auch zugelegt, damit ich nicht ständig den Adapter wechseln muss. Für mich kein wahrnehmbarer Unterschied zum Original, nur günstiger.

Delivery was excellent, 7:25 am!! Tried it on a couple of lenses (Canon and Sigma) all seems ok so far, eye detection etc seem to work ok,not tried it out in the field yet for proper use but so far so good. Hopefully all should be ok. Recommend.
