Absolutely blew my expectations out of the water
The media could not be loaded. Beautiful screen, perfect upgrade for these 20+ year old cars. This screen is honestly one of the best on the market and I can’t thank the seller enough for doing everything PROPERLY, if you were looking at any other units for your BMW… stop… get this one, you won’t be sorry.

Make sure you have most recent model!
I actually went through 3 units before i got one that is working well for me. First 2 stopped connecting to android auto, but this 3rd one seems to have no issues. I turned off my phonesac address randomization, so that might have done something, as it connects to the radio via wifi and bluetooth for the auto connection.Last 2 units i got are the 7011m, and even then, they have physical differences.The one i have now has nicer knobs and more firm buttons than the 1st. So if your unit has mushy buttons, exchange and try for a newer one.My only gripe is that the auto headlight detection only checks when the unit first starts, so you jeed to turn on headlights before starting your car.All the canbus functions work. I just needed to run a new cable to the front, as i had harmon kardon and a satnav unit.

Works perfect
Good quality radio , came with everything needed for the installation. AC control needs to be relocated. I installed the back up cámara and the microphone for the calls and everything work right away . Worked right out of the box and the original control on the steering wheel works .

Pretty good
I paid $120. Arrived in 2 days. Installed in 01 325i. I use apple car play and the wired CarPlay works well with no problems. So far “wireless” seems to be screen mirroring. A dongle would still be necessary for true wireless CarPlay. The background light was constantly flickering when I had the headlights on. I had to disconnect the illumination wire (orange). No issues since. The unit doesn’t have a disc drive so there’s tons of room for wiring and makes the item super light weight. The sound quality was 5/10 but once the sound options were adjusted sound quality can be 8/10. Some random static as with most.
