I only needed a couple sizes but it’s cheaper to buy a set than to buy 1-3. Only used them to drill small holes so can’t attest to the durability just yet but will update if anything happens.

The number of bits and sizes is impressive given the price. I used the 3/8 bit on redwood for quite a few holes and it worked just fine.

These bits chews through wood with ease, and leaves a clean cut every time. The only concern is the heat, I've never used spade bits but my drill bits don't heat up as much as these so not sure if its normal or not.

Nice set of bits with a nice case very good deal.

For cutting hole for plugs

Ok. So this worked for what I needed it to for a craft project. Now will forever be in a tool box. Lol

To Right through the Wood makes clean holes they don't have a case is the only downfall but they are very good bits. Would buy again with no problem.

I like how these spade drill bits come in a case, and they're all clearly marked with size. I tested a couple of sizes in plywood and got zero tearout on the top and minimal on the bottom (which can be addressed with tape or drilling from both sides, so no worries). However, It took considerable effort to push the drill through (especially the larger bits) because they're fairly dull. I'm not sure if that's intentional (to prevent from pulling the bit in too fast and causing chipping), but it is tiring when drilling by hand. If I had a drill press that might be a different story. But for the price, selection, and clean cuts, it's worth the purchase.

Just used them today. The only thing , the screw tip is not too aggressive. So some force is required..
