I contend that these are not truly hose barbs
These are translucent, cheaply made pieces of plastic. Even the storage container they came in broke upon opening. The smaller sizes seems to be hose barb-like, but most of the sizes have one side hose barb-like...and the other side is a hollow tube, as if it were designed to fit OVER a hose end instead of inside.I've given this 3 stars, because someone else said they worked great for their application. For being hose barbs, they only have one ridge instead of half a dozen as US-made ones do. I suppose this proves nothing beats Sioux Chief products.
