Sturdy, stable & flexible stand - great product!
This stand is sturdy, stable and flexible. The base is heavy and stable - there is no wobble. There are 3 segments, each about 14" long, that you can install or not. You screw them to the base and to each other to set the overall height. I am using two of them. At the top you screw on the arm that holds the tablet. The arm is completely adjustable with a rotating sleeve and two joints. The tablet holder is mounted on a ball joint so you can tilt and angle it. The clip is spring-loaded to hold the tablet. I'm using it with an iPad mini, and it works great.I now own several Twelve South products, and they are all carefully thought-through and well-made. I am impressed.

Does exactly what it promises
I love this stand. Assembly is very simple, and it is light enough to move around easily. Hold devices effectively where you want it. I think it is worth the extra cost to get better quality. No complaints at all.

Disappointed - unable to properly assemble
I am very adept on assembling all kinds of stuff successfully but I was not able to assemble it. groves are not machined properly.

Doesn’t work well for viewing in bed or armchair
This is a well designed iPad stand but be aware that if you’re buying it to use while laying in bed or reclined in a chair, the hover bar doesn’t swivel enough to give you a straight on view. You will need to move your head to view it at an angle. A little more rotation to allow it would make this perfect for me.
