Great hydration pack for women
I love this hydration pack! I've got a pretty small body frame so the adjustable straps were really nice in finding a positioning fit that works with my arm stride. It took me a few adjustments tonget it right because I'm really particular about not having my arms come in contact at all with the front pouches, especially when it's my long run days. The pack itself snugs nicely in the upper part of my back so it hasn't thrown off my running form at all. I definitely have some sweat buildup on my back, and I would imagine this isn't fully preventable when wearing any sort of hydration pack, but the material is pretty breathable and it isn't distracting. The front chest strap is not only adjustable width-wise but it can slide up or down so you can position it around your breasts.Since getting this pack, I've put in about 50 miles total while wearing this and haven't had any chafing problems. The straps don't shift with the weight of the water pouch and there really isn't any bouncing issues either. The front zip pouch is perfect for a couple of gels and there is a net pouch in front of that where I put my little stick of body glide (gotta love having big thighs.) The other bungee pouch on my right is where I typically put my phone (Samsung s7) and it never budges when the bungee is cinched down. The large compartment where the water pouch is doesn't have much room for more than a full pouch, but if you're not looking to fill it to capacity, then you can probably fit a post run t-shirt and hand towel in there, but I typically keep those items in my car or in my check bag for after racing anyways. The smaller zip pouch at the top is roomy enough for your wallet and has a clip for your keys, which I think is supposed to minimize bouncing but they're going to jingle whether you clip them or not.I've really only used this for running and I think it's fantastic. I would imagine if you are out on a long walk with your pup or a hike it would be suitable as well.

A great investment!
I am training for my first marathon and purchased the vest to help me stay hydrated during the race and carry some items. The vest is light weight, has enough pockets to carry items and it fits just right. My girlfriend and I both purchased one and although our body frames are total opposite, it fit each of us just right!

Proper adjustment really does make a night & day difference!
All I can say is WOW what a difference proper adjustments make!I've always been a hydration belt runner. I either put out water stops on my long runs, or ran with a club that put out water stops for us. To avoid having to put out additional water before my runs, I decided to finally give a pack or vest a try. I use the Nathan trail mix bottle belt, which I love - it stays in place and is comfortable, but just doesn't hold quite enough water for 20+ mile runs in the DC heat and humidity! So after looking around for a while, I decided on this Nathan Intensity Race Vest. I see so many of my running buddies with the straps up into their armpits, and it just looks SO uncomfortable. When I first tried this vest, on a short run to make sure it would work well for a long run, I was totally bummed! I had tightened the side straps first, then clipped and adjusted the sternum strap. The shoulder straps kept going out to the sides, my arms were hitting the pockets as i was running, the top of the shoulder straps kept shifting on my back. I couldn't figure it out after so many great reviews, what the heck was I doing wrong? I tried adjusting mid run - no go. When I came back home, I decided to read the reviews on Amazon, because SURELY someone else had the same issue!!Thank goodness they did - I'm used to back packing, and this is how you adjust your pack (I always do the sternum strap last.) Not the case with this vest! After seeing the suggestions to loosen all straps, and fit/adjust the sternum strap FIRST - everything fell into place! I moved the sternum strap up higher, tightened it up, and had the shoulder straps coming down perfectly (out of the way of my arm swing!) Then, I began adjusting the side straps until everything felt snug and in place. I took the vest back out for another spin and BAM! All issues were solved. It fit perfectly, didn't move around, my arm swing did not ever come into contact with the pockets. Don't give up - re-adjust in this manner and it works :)at 5 AM, it was already in the mid 80's and 94% humidity, and the water stayed very cold (even against my back, which was a nice feeling!) I have the Velcro strap to hold up the hydration pack, so I have not had any issues with it coming off the strap and falling down into the pack. The mouth piece works well, and I didn't have any issues with funky tastes at first (it seems like some of the issues have been resolved since some of the reviews posted here.) I love that the bladder opens completely at the top, which makes for a much easier clean & dry out after using it.I definitely recommend this running vest - I am very finicky about feeling anything on me when I run, and I was very impressed by the fit/feel of this. Just re-adjust if you are ready to give up :)

Great little hydration pack!
It's perfect for shorter runs -- about 8 miles and under. Very comfy to run with. Great big bladder is a plus. Lack of storage is the only thing missing. It has lots in the back, but it's not accessible when running. I wouldn't take it in the back country -- just not enough space for an all-day journey.

LIGHT AND COMFORTABLE
I purchased this vest, as I do not like to run with a water bottle in my hand. This vest is the ticket. I use it daily, even when it is hot here in Arizona. Used it today, it was 77 on the mountain, full sun.I can carry my phone in the front bottle holder. I have quite a few miles on this vest and I have never had a problem with the phone coming out. It does have a cinch cord on it. There is a front zippered pocket for keys, a debit card or any other small item you may want to carry. The two liter bladder is fine for my daily runs of 5-10 miles. I only put water or ice in my bladder. I have never had it leak. The quick disconnect hose is awesome. Its a feature that most other bladders do not have. The top back pocket in my vest, holds wipes, tissues and some sport beans. I can clip lights on both front and back for safety.I would purchase this vest again, or recommend it to a friend.
