A common complaint with these is the smell. It's like someone opened a full back of sharpies and left them out all day. I took the advice of another reviewer and washed them. I let them soak in very hot, soapy water for about a day and a half, then rinsed them then did it again for the same amount of time. The second time I stood at the sink and swished them around so all the suds could really cover everything. This got rid of the smell almost entirely. I'm making napkin holders with these so I would absolutely NOT want them to smell like sharpies. So besides the extra effort to get rid of the awful smell, they are really pretty. When I bought them the image showed an off white pearl but they are without a doubt, white. The color is what I would describe as "rich," in my opinion they don't look cheap at all. No flakey plastic pieces hanging off like a lot of the dollar store plastic pearls.

I've decided not to do the project that I got these for. The only negative thing I can say about these is that they are not returnable. It's the only thing I've found from Amazon that is not. That being said, I can tell they are exactly what I was hoping for. It's hard to tell about what size they are going to be without being able to see them in person but these look like they're exactly what I was hoping for.

I loveee this, the only problem is that some pearls have scratches. Don’t get this product expecting them to feel and look like pearls.

I keep rebuying these beads and in several sizes because I love them so much. I get so many compliments on my bracelets and necklaces I make with these beads. I highly recommend them. If I have one negative, it would be that I keep a bead reamer next to me in case a bead has a hole I need to open up but that is the case with most beads so I'm sticking to my 5 stars :)

I needed some statement beads for bracelets I am making. They needed to be larger than the other beads. Since I am making 50 of these bracelets I looked for an economical way to get the beads and found the Darice value packs of 8mm white ‘pearl’ beads with a straight hole drilled in each one. There are 360 pieces in the bag. The only problem I have had is finding a few beads that are stuck together. The nice thing is that with 360 beads in the package there are plenty to use a few in each bracelet.

There were a few smaller beads inside of it and I only wanted the normal size. Which is why I gave it 4 stars instead of 5. But still gave me enough to-do my wind chime project.

I think these beads are nice, cheap but nice when I say cheap, I mean as in material of the beads, not the price, it's easy to scratch, but I'm really not complaining, because that's exactly what I'm going to do, continue to scratch the beads! because it's still a pretty white bead underneath, so I still recommend these beads, because I will be ordering more 😊😎

WOW this was soooo worth it! You can use it for many different things and ughhh I just love it! really sturdy and overall really good.

Lots of beads in this package to complete many of my DIY projects. All in good condition and easy to string.

The package says 360 pieces. There is only 350 pieces. I know it's very little missing but missing nonetheless and I bought it for the quantity of pearls.

They have holes (this was my only concern after reading the questions...). Look very nice

Exactly what I ordered. However, I didn't realize was so big!! Had to order smaller ones for my project. All is well though. I will use them for something!! A crafter always does 😁
