Always loved these biscuits, price is great (got half price on offer) broken biscuits don't bother me but for those it does...i bought 3 tins and not one biscuit was broken.There are 5 types of biscuit in each tin 8 of each biscuit, 4 per case and 40 biscuits in total just incase you wanted to know :-). Subdued my craving for now!

Cookies fine one tin very squashed, we ate them -the others are for Christmas.

For some reason this Festive Season we have been on a bit of a biscuit kick which led us to the usual discussion you have when you get old, you know the one - Do you remember? A big one for us was the tin of Danish Butter Cookies that mysteriously only appeared at Christmas. Honestly, neither of us could remember seeing them for sale at any other time of the year. Anyhoo, this set me on a mission to get a tin and believe when I say I tried every local large chain supermarket and grocery store close to our small UK town. Nothing, zip, nada. Even small independents didn't have them.Now I didn't really want a whole 4lbs (1.8Kg) of them. But, this is what I had to buy just to get the nostalgia hit. A nostalgia hit that is going to last me until the summer judging by the size of the tin. It is laughably huge but arrived with no dents or damage to it's classic blue and gold outer. The expiry date is May 2021 so plenty of time to munch our way through them and then the tin will make a great cake tin - it is too big for the classic sewing tin re-purposing.My real issue with these biscuits is this - am I the only person who thinks they taste kinda like Play-Doh smells?Even though that sounds weird I do enjoy scarfing these down with a brew, or sneaking a couple whilst putting up packed lunches or preparing dinner. The sneaked ones taste so much better it must be said.
