Cute chef that is very easy to carry
This cooker is very portable and helps you to cook simple meals while traveling. It fits in the carrier and takes up little space because the handle and the heating part are separated. You can heat, fry, and boil food with it. You can quickly make a perfect fried egg like the picture. It takes a while to preheat, but you will be satisfied with the portability and cute design.

Great for Travel
I love it. Small but not too small. Water came to a rapid boil in a few mins. Pot is decent size for traveling. Wish it came with a carry bag/case. The cover does not snap/clip on so it will fall off during travel and needs to be in a carry bag/case. The heating base, pot, and cover are separate, so this might be a plus for ease of packing during travel. Would be nice if it came in different colors, and ceramic coating. I’m sure any pot of the same size can be used on the heating base.

Perfect for flight attendants.
This works amazingly. I tested it to see if it boils water and works. Now I take this on my layovers, use it reheat my soup, wrapped tin foil around the heating element so I could make quesadillas(ended up burning them but that's my fault). Cooked steak with a noodle stir fry and fits perfectly in my lunchbox since it's compact. Now I just show it off to everyone I see, cause I love it so much.

Nice little cooking device for travel!
Pros:Item heats food (soup) and boils water quickly when on high. I have only used it for these two things so far. I'm pleased with quantity it holds as it is definitely larger than the mini pots some retailers sell, without taking up a great deal more space. It is a breeze to clean because of the nonstick coating and I like that you remove it completely from the heating base for ease of cleaning. I thought the handles would be cheap, but they are actually pretty sturdy! I was able to use the pot as a bowl, which is convenient for saving space and reducing cleanup when traveling. I love that the heating element packs into the pot and then the handles tuck in! It saves so much space! I carried the unit in my lunch tote the first day and then repacked with it in my TravelPro crew bag the second day. Easily fits in both bags! Overall, I'd recommend the product and it seems like a good value for the investment.Cons:1. I worry that the temperature control slider feels a little light-duty for the amount of times the unit will be packed/unpacked and jostled around.2. I fear the nonstick surface of the pot will get scratched/damaged by the heating element inside it. I wrapped it in a towel to help eliminate that issue, but the base fits quite snuggly in the pot so the towel must be very thin!3. While the pot itself cools quickly, the heating plate does not! Could be a problem if you need to pack the device soon after using it.

Not works.
It worked ok at the first time even if the cook time is slow. But it's gone at the second time. I see the light on but nothing happens. It's been only a couple of months since I bought this. Looks like I cannot return or replace this item.

Perfect for Compact Travel Cooking
I recently took the HYTRIC Electric Cooker on a trip to several hotels that didn't have kitchenettes, and it was a lifesaver! Here's why it's a great option for travelers who like to have some control over their meals:Compact and Portable:Hotel-Room Friendly: This cooker's small size and detachable design make it perfect for cramped hotel rooms. Unlike bulky appliances, it can be easily stored in a suitcase or backpack.Folds for Easy Travel: The foldable handle makes it even more compact for travel.Versatility on the Go:Simple Meals Made Easy: I used it to prepare various meals, including soups, teas, and eggs. It's great for boiling water for oatmeal or instant noodles, or for making small batches of soup or stews.Easy Cleaning: The non-stick surface makes cleaning a breeze. Just wipe it down with a damp cloth after use.

Smoking, plastic smell.
Bought this to cook light foods at work. Really wanted a hot pot with a separate heating element for easy washing. However, when I first used it it smoked for about 30s and gave off a very burnt electrical smell. It also takes a while to come to a boil with no food added in. Now after the third use it no longer smokes but still has a slight smell. I will keep to use since I need it but it’s not ideal.

A bit slow to heat up but great design
I bought this pot as a replacement for the one-piece one I had that recently broke. The design is perfect, with the pot being completely separate and able to be washed without worrying about water getting into the housing. One downside is that the pot takes a while to get hot, and so far I haven't seemed to be able to get it to a rolling boil. That being said, I use it for making packets of ramen soup, and though it takes a bit longer, it does the job.I also love that the pot itself has a collapsible handle, and that the heating element base fits into the pot with the lid on. It makes storage so easy and simple. The pot is also small enough and light enough that I often eat right out it, making it unnecessary to use more dishes.
