Accessory Hose Compatible with FoodSaver，Accessory Hose FA2000，FM2000 and FM2100 GM FAX12 000 Compatible

I use this with the FoodSaver model VS0160 vacuum sealer and reusable vacuum storage bags. It works well, it can be hard to get the seal engaged on the bags, but that's a technique problem. Once you've got a good seal on all pieces, it does the job it's designed to do!

When I first got the product, I started the return process because it came with no directions, and it didn’t make any sense. However, I finally noted some pictures on an envelope and figured it out. It works perfectly for my needs. A little piece had broken off the device on the original mFood saver that removes air from bags. It does a good job to the extent that an Avacado half did not turn brown at all. For my use it is perfect and a good price.

This fits my Food Saver port. But it is round, not oval. It works for wine cork, resealable bags, and with mason jar attachments. But the marinade containers need an oval, not a circular shape. Those are the attachments I use, I'm not sure if there are any others that need an oval, but if you need it to be oval, this is not for you.

If you have Anova food vacuum unit, stop here and make sure to check to see if you have a vacuum port accessory hose that came with the unit. Otherwise, don't purchase this unless you purchase a separate port accessory hose in addition to this. The Anova's vacuum port depth is deeper than the FoodSaver by 1 cm.If you have FoodSaver vacuum sealer, you're good to go.Once you purchased this unit, you can use the original Anova's port accessory plug with the plastic house and sealer housing on resuable bags (my wife's Zwilling), containers (also from Zwilling and may other manufacturers), vacuum cans, and strangely enough, some one time use bags that I tend to get for coffee beans. As long as the vacuum port is less than 1-inch, it'll work in getting all the air out. The seal around the cup is perfect to obtain that airtight fitting for your vacuum to work its magic.

I've had a Foodsaver since 2001. This is the least great version of their air hose, but you need it. The tip breaks off easier than it should. This is my second or third replacement. Their quality has really gone down.

No matter what we tried, there was no vacuum.

I bought this hoping it would work with my 10+ year-old Foodsaver and some of the newer reusable Foodsaver bags. Worked like a charm on the first use, was a big hard to get the circular hose attachment in the first time but just took a bit of force. Now I have an easy way to reuse the same bags (I mostly use them for cheese).

I have a cat on dry kidney food, which is expensive. Once the bag it comes in is open, she’ll eat the food for a while until it loses its freshness. Using this tool with my 20 year old food saver, I’m able to pour what she needs and keep the rest fresh. I use the food saver bags that have the resealable port, so I’m not wasting my regular food saver bags. This was a great purchase. I wish I’d found this earlier.
