Quite powerful, and fairly comfortable in the hand
Approve of this - Cuts quite large branches providing they are not too woody - so greener is better. Inserting the choice of two blades is just a little tricky - best done over a table, and beware of the copious grease applied to the nylon backing plate when the cover is removed. But the unit is light, the battery lasts long enough to do the small trimming jobs it is designed for, and holding / activating the trigger is comfortable so that the pressure needed to keep the unit running isn't too strong. I've used it, my wife who is smaller than I has used it, and we're pleased with the overall quality and practicality. We do have the charger on the garage wall, so it is always ready for use.

I am pleasantly surprised!
This is an excellent and handy tool - especially for those with a small garden! If you're looking to cut large hedges and bushes, this is NOT the tool for you. However, I use it on a couple of medium sized box hedges and for trimming the unruly edges of the lawn. It works a treat and is very easy to use.Once I understood the process, changing the blades is also pretty straightforward and stress free.I can trim our 2 box hedges and the entire border of our lawn - with plenty of power to spare. Once finished, I quickly brush the blades and give them a squirt of WD-40.Thus far, I have had no issues and have no complaints. šš

Great small area trimmer
I really like this little clipper, it does the job really well with either attachment, whether in the garden or trimming back and keeping grass, weeds & nettles in order down at the allotment. The battery takes a little while to charge (I think it arrived ready to go) but it lasts for ages! The mini hedge trimmers are a doddle to use and avoid the worry about snagging a cable, which I find to be an issue with full size clippers. These are very capable but are just for either tidying up or small jobs but wouldn't be up to doing a big area or trimming branches at all. I used these in one hand and a pair of secateurs in the other and made good progress along a very overgrown path!

Short term lifespan
I bought the black and decker hand shears after seeing a chap using them at cemetery, we all know council don't cut often enough or tidilyI purchased mine a friend then got me to order her some. Then her friend ordered some tooI need a bonus from black & decker𤣠be wary of price, mine were £46 with delivery friends came in at £35 with delivery ( in same week)After I complained I got refundThese shears are awesome for small jobs brilliant for cemetery use2024 update, shot up dramatically in price, don't last long, lawn trimming in summer only obviously, plus grass trim at Cemetary plot.......mine broke, friend i recommended to hers brokeOther person yet to hear from how theirs are going

Might cut sparse grass
The unit is light and simple to handle, but that's about where the good ends. The first surprise was just how slow this operates - if you've used other cutters: prepare to be underwhelmed. I mean, sure it is doing something, but: it sure isn't in a hurry, which makes even cutting grass a tedious exercise in frustration. If you're hoping to cut something thicker than sparse grass: think again. Every time I hit, say, a narrow bramble stem: the (not huge) torque in the motor would cause the foot cover (which keeps the chosen cutter in) to come off the bottom of the unit, ejecting the cutters. I checked that the foot-plate was correctly and securely (as far as possible) fitted: I guess that's just a feature of low-density plastic - it will bend under stress, and the blades won't - so: it will lose every time.Charging was also awkward; the charger might work sufficiently if fitted vertically to a wall (there are screws for this, etc) - but as an occasional usage item, I didn't intend to dedicate wall space for it. When using the charger horizontally, the contacts between the unit and charger are ... fiddly. Sometimes it worked, mostly it didn't and needed careful jiggling to find that one spot where it connects.Overall: very disappointed. Returning.
