Apple car play works great
If you own a vehicle that has Bluetooth audio already integrated this will be a great fit. My Ford Fusion did not have the upgraded stereo so I bought this. Apple car play works great only down side is it’s with an fm transmitter. But that’s where the Bluetooth comes in. The cameras are great quality. You can side both cameras front and back split screen at the same time.

I paid to have it installed properly so not only am I out of the money that I paid for the USELESS PRODUCT I am out of the installation money spent. DO NOT PURCHASE THIS ITEM!! IT IS TRASH!! None of the items promised works. They worked 1 time only and never again!! Now i do not even have sound.. I will fight to get my money back but don't be fooled like me DO NOT PURCHASE THIS PRODUCT!!!

Not perfect, but a great option
I have mixed feelings about this contraption, but for the most part I've enjoyed using it.In the box, you get a flimsy rear view camera and a long cord (looks like a headphone jack), you get a power cord that plugs into the normal DC port (and has an extra USB port for your phone), and this device. It's powered by USB-c, and it's important to note that even my 1 amp old charger runs this device great, so you don't really have to use the included power supply (but the FM transmitter seems to rely on it).Setup is easy. Once your phone is paired with bluetooth, you can get android auto to work on half the screen. Android Auto cannot be maximized to the full screen, and half the screen will either be the front or rear camera, which in my opinion is very distracting in a way a regular mirror isn't.The mirror works like a mirror. It's actually pretty usable even with the screens full of navigation, etc. You can easily tap the button on the bottom of this thing to turn off the video screens and just have mirror, and you can easily dim the brightness quite a bit.I just wish there was more thought given to what to do with that right half of this mirror. Turning it off while using android auto would have been great.I tried to use carplay, but wasn't able to get it to work. I didn't try very hard or for very long, so I wouldn't read that much into it.Construction quality is good. Getting this around a car's mirror will take a little tugging on two ladder shaped pieces of silicone, and I would just leave it in place once you have it where you need it. You can use this as a DVR when your car is off, but I am too worried about my car's battery to do that.just mounted, you can't even tell it's a screen, except for the power cord. It's a very good length, so it's not a problem to run it around your headliner in most cars and keep it subtle.Bluetooth calls are excellent quality. The mike in this thing works great. This uses wireless versions of android auto and carplay, and this isn't optional. I found my phone has no problem doing this, but you do need to power your phone. The older standard was just to plug your phone into your headunit, which obviously charges it and is very simple. All in all I like this quite a bit. I drove 20 hours with this on, right after installing it, and it was reliable and a pleasure. Is this as good as changing your head-unit (car stereo)? Nope. Not even close. The audio quality will never be that good, and it will always be a bit of a hassle to deal with pairing the phone and powering this on. But in my car, it's unrealistic to change the head-unit.

Did the job
It definitely works. Was long enough for my e30s. Rear camera is really only good for backup. Too dark for live rearview camera as I intended. Android Auto is better than nothing, but due to the poor rearview camera it's kind of useless in the daytime. But then at night the rearview should be on the left with Android on the right, but I don't see a way to flip it.

Great value for money device for old cars
Pros - Ease of use, wireless CarPlay, great touch screen, cameraCons - audio output to speaker via radio or BluetoothConclusion - must buy for cars with no CarPlay or camera inbuilt

Broke just after the return window closed
I couldn’t hook up the backup camera because I couldn’t figure out which wire to connect it to in my taillight. But I mostly got this for the Apple Car Play feature. Worked great… until 2 weeks after the return window closed. I went to plug it in (I always unplug so it doesn’t drain my battery), and when I did the charger just broke in pieces. I tried to fix it to to no avail. So that was over $100 down the drain. It’s useless now. DO NOT BUY!!! And to the seller, if you’re reading this, I’d like a replacement charger cord.

Adds modern features to older cars with minimal effort. Also got road rager on day 3.
OEM Saturn Sky mirror had corrosion, decided to replace with this unit. Rear camera was a bit hard to activate, as it needs between 5v and 12v to activate, and my sense line was 6v and 12v. I used 3 LEDs in series to drop the voltage to 2v when off, and 9v when in reverse. I let seller know about the issue and resolution. Camera quality is great, able to read road signs and plates, even at night. Only con is the time resets to JAN 1 if you don't use the car for 2-3 days. Sometimes Android Auto will disconnect but that is rare. Usually I just get in the car, and it all comes up with phone in pocket. Boots fast, probably 20 seconds. In 10 seconds, reverse camera is able to be used while it's booting. Already submitted some footage to police to find the rager was using trailer plates on his Toyota Tacoma truck.

Everything I expected…and more
This is my first smart mirror dash cam with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. It was fairly easy to install. I had to go out an buy the plastic wedge shaped trim and panel remover to hide the wiring. This was the hardest part. Since my car already has a rear back up camera, I didn’t need to hook up that part. I was impressed that the mirror still captured wherever it was pointed, so you could put it anywhere in the car to get a vantage viewpoint. It also came with an SD card, which was also impressive. The connectivity to Bluetooth and CarPlay was extremely easy. Since I already have a Carpuride CarPlay Head Unit, I primarily will only use the mirror for rear view and as a dash cam recorder. For the price, this was a great buy!!!
