SUPCASE Unicorn Beetle Series Case Designed for iPhone 8 Plus, Premium Hybrid Protective Clear Case for Apple iPhone 7 Plus 2016 / iPhone 8 Plus 2017 Release (Black)

I have had this case for 2 years now. It has held up great! I've dropped it several times and phone is still in mint condition (I do have a glass screen protector on my phone as well tho). Easy to take on and off. It doesn't get stuck in your pocket. The bumpers on the side are great. The back part is plastic but it's sturdy. It does have a crack in the back plastic part after 2 years of wear and tear (and children), but still going strong. My husband and I both got our phone cases at the same time, he got a different one and his recently broke. So I am ordering him one of these in black. I'm really picky about my phone cases and I don't like cheapy stuff. But this case is great! Works perfect for my pop socket too.Edit: after THREE years of being beaten up by my young kids, and used and abused, my phone case finally broke today. It had been on its last legs for a few months. The back clear plastic piece was coming apart from the bumpers on the sides. But it was still working and useable. Well my 1 year old took my case off and tore my case apart so I must now get a new one. But it's lasted me a very long time and kept my phone safe. My phone still looks brand new and has survived many drops.

I am probably returning this case, which I bought for my new red iPhone 8 plus. First, it is a very good looking, somewhat minimalist case, that shows off the back of the phone. It was easy to put on, fits well and does not add much bulk. Both the black and the clear plastic are sturdy and it is not slippery to hold. So why only 3 stars? First, I had an Otterbox Commuter case on my old iPhone. It honestly was not a great looking case, being a bit thick and clunky and a discontinued safety yellow color that I bought 75% off, but was incredibly rugged, helping the phone survive several bad drops, feeling good to hold and the bright yellow had the unexpected bonus of being easy to spot across a room. I put the two cases side by side. The lip on the Otterbox is BOTH a full 1/8" wider AND 1/8" deeper and the case is a 1/4" deeper overall. That is MUCH more drop protection, and I am concerned about having a much larger screen with a smaller lip. The other thing, which is going to drive me crazy, the case has only been on the phone overnight, and I did not use the phone from 8 PM to 8 AM, so it has been in use perhaps 5 hours, sending a few texts. The clear plastic back is already COVERED with smudgey fingerprints. What is the point of a well designed, sleek, minimalist design case that shows off the back of the phone if it is covered with finger prints? It's like throwing mud on a designer gown. This is the second case I have ordered and wanted to return for this phone. I may throw in the towel and go back to an Otterbox, even though it will cover the red phone, or soldier on and try an Incipio Dual Pro or a Sphigen.

So I have been a unicorn beetle fan since the iPhone 6, it has provided sturdy protection over years of use and during phone upgrades when taking the old phone out of the case each of my phones came out pristine with the only use wear scratching around lightning port from the connector. It appears since my last purchase they have introduced a new entry level case only it is more an edge protector, as it also removes the rear plastic body cover and replaces it with the thin clear plastic that used to be on the front, now to provide scratch resistance you need to buy a separate screen protector sheet. One final word regarding picking a case color, my son likes red so I ordered a red color of this “case”, you can see his phone on the left and it has a thin red line, that is your color case as you see the color of the phone overrides the case color making it more white than anything and the red is now on the back of the phone. It may be a personal preference but if I order a red case I want the case to actually be red like the two photos on the right of the unicorn beetle pro. If your looking for an edge protector this is the “case” for you otherwise spend the extra 10$ and your phone will be safe and sound for a long while.

Around a year ago I upgraded to an iPhone 8 Plus and was searching for a good case to use for my new phone. I stumbled across this one on amazon and I’m happy that I did. A major issue i find with many phone cases is that the buttons become hard to push and annoying to use. This case uses a flexible and soft rubber over the buttons which makes it extremely easy to push the power button and volume buttons. It also feels like the case intensifies the feedback that is felt from the buttons which is sort of satisfying. In terms of protection for the phone; I have dropped it at least a dozen times this past year and have not once cracked my screen or damaged any part of my phone. For the price it’s a great product. I would assume that it will not be as protective as higher end cases but so far it has gotten the job done.

I bought a matte black iPhone 7 Plus last year and I really wanted a clear case for it and I LOVE this one. It has lips on the edges so if you drop it face down you are less likely to shatter the screen (I still keep tempered glass on it just in case) This is my 3rd case (I change them when I want to change pop sockets or if the case needs replaced) My last case (same as this one) had cracks inside the case from it absorbing the shock from my dumb self dropping my phone.... BUT that means it didn’t crack my phone which was great!!In my picture: On the left is my new case and on the right is my old case. Since I have a black phone I never realized how gross my old case had gotten. Grated I have dropped my phone in mud, and dirt while hiking or just walking in town.

I bought this case because I wanted to be able to see the beautiful color of my phone, but also wanted the protection, and I’m pretty sure I got that. This case comes out of the box looking as nice as can be, but over time fingerprints become very visible on the back. Not a big problem for me just an fyiMy phone fits nice and secure within the case, which is a big plus for me, all of the buttons look nice and sleek, but take about a day or two to get used to.If you’re wanting a clear case with a little bit of style, this is a phone case I HIGHLY recommend!

Super sympa, solide et jolie!

Llegó mucho antes de la fecha, vi la casaca es muy bella para presumir, pero no tiene protector para la pantalla principal,pero para la trasera si y es resistente me hubiera gustado, que también la tuviera en la pantalla así se protege más, pues la puse se hizo más ligera y más fifi, si pude usar mis flash memoria sin quitar la casaca, con la casaca Otter de uso rudo si tenía que quitar la casaca para mis memorias flash con la de uso rudo se ponía muy pesada, con esta es más ligera , si me aguanto una caída no se rayó ni toco la pantalla principal por su ligero borde, me la quede la iba a regresar por no tener para la pantalla, pero con ella se sentía más cómoda la voy a usar varias semanas para ver resultados,por lo tanto doy 3 estrellas por falta de eso,4 estrellas de que es muy elegante y muy resistente en la parte trasera y casi no deja huellas,es más que una casaca si me aguanto una caída de un metro y 20 cm se me salió de mi estuche y si soporto esa caída algo ruda ya pasó la prueba me gusto esta marca si la volvería a pedir es una muy buena inversión le pongo 5 estrellas

Great case for the price, scratches pretty easy, protects my phone well, and looks pretty sharp. Not bulky, buttons are flat and take getting used to. For the quality and the price, no one should complain about this case. Stores sell way worse ones for triple the price.Update: a year later and this case is still on my phone. Has been dropped hundreds of times and it still going. Scratched bad, but hasn’t broke at all. Excellent case. The best case for the iPhone in this price point.

Had this cover for half a year now, and I can attest to its durability. Always dropping my phone while digging out the keys, matched with a screen cover and had great success. Love the square edge to stand the phone on it's side (while cooking, etc), and it stays up perfectly, mind you I do not have a pop socket on the back.Will buy this for my next phone too!

Habe diese Hülle nun schon über ein Jahr und bin sehr zufrieden damit. Durch die Form liegt das Handy nie auf (also man könnte es auf den Tisch knallen und das Glas bekommt davon nichts ab). Das Handy hat mich nun schon einmal um die Welt begleitet (Australien, Neuseeland, USA, Frankreich) und ist mehrfach runtergefallen - dennoch nichts passiert und alles heile geblieben.
