Fits my older compresser perfectly!
There is only one difference, on mine it says "Zettler Controls". But looks exactly like the other pictures you see in this review! I did have to cut off the spade connectors of the older contactor/relay since the L1 and L2 connectors are for bare wire to be screwed into and held in place. This is a supeseded part from Rheem, and looks like they're just using different contract parts makers thats why the brand name keeps changing. If you notice the XMC0 number on my image it's the same as any other Rheem part. But it's an excellent quality part. I was able to wire everything up, and it worked immediately! The last part was 30yrs old! Hope this one lasts almost as long!Nothing more to really say, it works great, and it's great quality. Can't beat the price either!

Easy replacement, time will tell
Our HVAC technician said our contactor was warn so I ordered this and swapped it out in both our outside units. Was easy and has been trouble free for about a month.

Working great!
It's quiet and reliable. Using on an AC Condenser now for 2-mos in the Summer and so far, so good.

Perfect replacement for my aging unit
My super old heat pump was giving me issues and I ended up replacing the Contactor with this item and it works great. The configuration of the leads was a litter different but it got the job done and has been work for several months now

Not Rheem brand as stated, but works
If you look at the picture the actual item is not Rheem brand but is Protech. I took a star off for this, because the brand is why I bought this particular one over other "same spec" items. That said, the brand doesn't matter as the item functions perfectly. I know on other reviews it was a direct fit replacement but it was not for the one that was in mine - luckily the original wiring diagram was there from installation. Once I figured out which terminal went to what it worked perfectly. If you don't understand relays, or don't have the wiring diagram available and yours is different, this job goes from a 20 minute swap to a job for a professional. My suggestion: check to see what yours looks like before you order, because if you have to pay someone to put it in you may as well have them bring their own part anyway.

Easy replacement
Outdoor half (compressor and fan) of central AC wouldn't shut off, just ran continuously.Logic says the contactor is stuck on.This item is a pretty generic replacement contactor for the average AC and installs in 15 minutes with just a screwdriver for anybody with enough knowhow to turn the power to the outside unit off.If you don't know how to turn the power to the outside unit off., though, get somebody else to install it.

Replaced original switch Zettler 42-102664-05
Noticed fan was running on my RUUD condenser unit but no cool air coming out of vents. Opened the cover to find a mouse nest in the controls. Blew the capacitor (CSC part #43-101666-68) so I figure I'd replace the relay switch as well. Original relay had different part number but the key was the XMC0-321-EBBD rating for my unit so that is has 1 pole and shunt. Even though Amps, RES were higher, you can always go up in those. Happy to report AC is up and running and the unit is even quieter on start up now! For under $50 in parts, I'm good to go. Easily saved $350 on service call and replacement mark ups. Check for those mice every year, they can raise HELL. Shame on me for not checking each year, won't make that mistake again!

The outside AC compressor motor would not shut off - This contactor fixed it. Arrived FAST in two days!
The outside AC compressor motor would not shut off. Pulled the cover and it was obvious the old contactor on my RUUD AC was rusted and sticking. The relay box was also home to some pretty angry spiders and thier nets.I searched amazon and found this contactor at a good price and ordered it. The original contactor was the open contact style where you can see the contacts, I went with this closed version cuz of all the rust, webs, and junk I saw on the dang sticking one, maybe this type will last longer. The contactor arrived in two days. It fit right in place, perfect. I wired it up , took 15 minutes max and everything now works great!
