I got this dash panel to replace the factory one in my 08 wrangler. As you know, the jk's lack good interior space for things like cell phones and what not. So far I am very happy with this one. Installation was a breeze. I watched their youtube video just to see before it arrived, and installing it takes maybe 2 or 3 minutes max. The clips from the factory one fit perfect. Everything lines up great, and it does not feel loose or anything.The color is a good match as well. If it were not for the logo on the front of it, i do not think that you could tell that it didnt come from the factory that way. The front most pocket is a little small for my Nexus 6 phone, but I knew that it would be before I ordered it. This is a big phone. But I feel that it would be the perfect size for some smaller smart phones or an ipod. i use this spot to hold my e-cig. Although it is not deep at all, Nothing has slid and fell out of it yet. The main, bigger spot is big enough to hold my phone, and the back ledge is tall enough that if I needed to, I could prop my phone up and use it as a gps.I would recommend this to anyone who would like a little bit of extra space without having to take up the cupholders. I will be looking for more daystar products to put in my jeep.

VERY easy to install and looks sharp to boot. It doesn't look out of place -- they managed to match up the plastics and colors very well. It's a well made piece of eye candy. Taking off the old clips from the original dash piece to reuse on this new one is a cinch. Just take your time and be patient -- that goes for anything. They included directions with mine, as was expected, and I folowed them to a T with NO issues. Use your head: If you're worried about losing anything like clips or screws down the dash's vent hole, put tape over it! Cover it up! You'll do just fine.I was a TAD dissapointed with 2 minor things:-I have the iPhone 5 and I have probably the most slim case you can get on it (bumper style) and it wont fit perfectly into the small cut out on the new dash. I only say this so others know because it looks like it would fit judging from the pictures and I had seen myself putting my phone there.-Also, there is no grip to the dash piece and despite it's rougher, not so smooth surface, things will slide around. So if you're expecting to place a GPS onto the furthermost part with the curve and have it stand up on there so you can see it, it will not stay. It keeps sliding forward.MINOR issues but I hope to answer some questions for any potential buyers.I recommend this dash piece! I do NOT regret purchasing it whatsoever.

Bought this to replace the factory upper dash panel in my 2009 Rubicon as the previous owner had screwed 4 screws into the factory panel to hold his CB. Installation was fairly simple(agree that it would be better if it came with its own clips) and the Daystar panel fits the space like a stock part. Seems very durable and is a great place for my phone and sunglasses. I installed this panel over the stock MyGIG 730N(RER) touchscreen NAV/DVD/Radio and it fit fine with the compass module attached to the bottom. Would highly recommend to anyone wanting/needing to replace their stock upper dash panel.

I no longer had the factory panel as I had replaced it with a Tuffy tray that pulled down, covered my factory navigation system and locked. I was now replacing the obsolete factory head unit and no longer needed the Tuffy system so I bought this Daystar panel.Installation is very easy. At least it would be if it fit. I had to modify the top part of my Jeep's bezel in order to make this panel fit. When I tried to install it, the rear portion of the panel refused to clip in. This was because the front edge of the panel is too thin or the top part of my Jeep's bezel that the panel's front edge hooks on is too t;hick. I ended up having to cut a chunk of the top part of my bezel off in order to relieve the tension and allow the panel's rear to clip in. I didn't like doing it, but at least the cut is hidden beneath the panel. I do have the panel installed, but it sticks out a bit interfering with the 10 inch floating screen of my new head unit. I sense another modification in my future to ensure the head unit fits properly.

Prefect fit

I have purchased two of these for two different Jeeps. They install easily and look great. The color matches well with the dark gray/black interior.Installation tip: slowly remove the old panel with a flat screwdriver. Slowly is the key, as you are less likely to send the clips flying off the back. You will need those to install the new dash panel (or you can buy them at an auto parts store). Installation took about 5 minutes (and I'm a girl).Product upgrade tip: the trays are slick on the bottom. I purchased one of those non-skid gel dash pads from the auto parts store. I cut it in half length-wise and put half in the bottom of the each of the trays. This will keep your stuff from sliding around and getting thrown in the floor when you're wheeling.

Tengo mas espacio

I can't really say it adds much more real 'storage' space. But it does make a spot to drop small items. It fits well and is super easy to install. I have owned this for seven years in my JKUX and no real complaints. Still lots better than the original piece. Thanks!

Ein super Produkt für alle JK bis 2011. So kann man Kostengünstig eine Ablagemöglichkeit schaffen.Montage ist unkompliziert, jedoch sollte man das Kompass Modul wieder richtig anschrauben, ansonsten zeigt er um 180° falsch an.Der Preis für die Lieferung ist sehr hoch, leider.

Took like 2 min to install and is exactly what we needed. Looks great, not an eyesore and the fit is perfect in my 2010 JKU.
