Do not recommend.
Put everything together per instructions then put the pod in my machine and it made terrible noise and my coffee was just about water.

BLACKSMITH FAMILY Contraption Tool Kit + Disposable Capsules,Seal Rings,Sealers
This review is for the BLACKSMITH FAMILY Contraption Tool Kit + Disposable Capsules,Seal Rings,Sealers.I have filled and used 15 pods so far and I could not be happier. I filled and prepped them over the weekend and used them over the past week. The refill process is easy and pretty idiot proof. You dont need to worry too much about aligning the cover with the pod. Fill the plastic pod, place it in the provided holder, place one of their (non-adhesive) aluminum foil covers on top and use the provided hammer to slide the retaining plastic ring over the pod. Check the video in this listing. It is that simple.

Close to worthless as shipped but hackable into a good product.
Let me first say that I am an unapologetic coffee snob. I've been doing Chemex pourover for about 10 years, have had several very high end grinders, have a pre-order in for a freaking $565 Ratio Eight and have owned way too many $500+ pump espresso machines over the years.I've never before owned a K-cup or Capresso machine. While the convenience of k-cups and capsules has always had some appeal the inability to customize was always a dealbreaker.I was staying with friends for a week and had a bunch of capressos and wasn't a huge fan of the output: the crema is sub-par, and it was noticeably weaker than what I do at home, but I fell in love with the one touch convenience. And if you're adding milk for a cappuccino or macchiato, crema isn't all that integral.I knew there were refillable k-cups so assumed there had to be a refillable Capresso system and found this. I didn't do enough research but just impulse bought the Breville Vertuo Next and this kit. I was super impressed by the 1,248 5 star reviews but made the mistake of not actually reading them! Turns out that about 1,242 of these reviews are for the pod holder and just a handful for the capsule kit.So I loaded up a handful of Blacksmith reusable capsules with my go to espresso grind (which is 2/3 Intelligentsia Black Cat and 1/3 Death Wish Dark Roast). Followed the instructions to a T and brewed my first cup. It was utter garbage that went down the sink. Here's the issue: The instructions say the capacity of these capsules is 10 grams but they recommend to use no more than 8g. I couldn't get more than 7 to 7.5g in. If I tried with either a finer grind or by tamping, the Breville machine wouldn't process it.But then they say to put the Blacksmith capsule inside a 7.77 OZ Capresso pod. That pod came with 13g of coffee in it. Obviously you're going to get some weak ass coffee running 7 oz of water through 7 or 8 grams of grounds. There is apparently some way to manually shorten the brew cycle on the single button machine but having to stand there and watch takes away the convenience factor which is the whole reason I bought the damn machine!I tried putting the Blacksmith capsule in an empty capresso Double Espresso capsule but the machine wouldn't process it: the Blacksmith pod extended too far above the rim and there was zero hope of even trying to put one in the tiny used single espresso. But I scratched my head and came up with a hack: Take a pair of precise scissors and cut out the bottoms of the aluminum espresso and double espresso pods. Then cut some vertical slits along the existing creases: on the double espresso cut about 3/8 of an inch; on the single you have to go almost all the way to the barcode. Now you can fit your refillable Blacksmith capsule in and it works like a charm! You've now got one touch espresso or double espresso that you can customize with your own beans!I've only done a handful so far but even the first couple were more than serviceable and I'm confident with some experimentation with grind size and maybe some *minimal* tamping I will shortly be at very good, though probably not excellent, espresso shots!GLP.S. - If I had to do this over again I think I would get a Capresso original line which uses a pump rather than the vertuo which uses "Centrifusion." Do more research than I did.

ABSOLUTELY PERFECT FOR ME! People need to use for the correct size
People leaving bad reviews need to realize this is a replacement for the 7.77 oz size!!! You are filling these and then complaining they don't fit in to smaller 5.07 oz or 1.35 oz pods or trying to "hack" them to fit. Obviously they don't because they aren't meant to! The only complaint I have is that these don't come in the carafe 18 oz size because that's what I use. But my dad drinks 2 - 4 cups of coffee a day so these are really saving me money. Also these are a HUGE improvement on the stickers I have tried My-Cap Foil Seals and the hard caps I have tried mycoffeestar 4 lid set. The reason is because I like to make about 2 weeks worth at a time. Anymore and the coffee starts tasting dull. But by the time I get to the end of the batch the stickers are peeling off. Yes it is a bit of a pain to put the reusable pods together but I only do it twice a month and they stay put together nicely in a ziploc bag

If you like weak coffee, these are for you
These are pretty slick little pods, and I was really pleased how they are designed compared to just slapping a foil cover over a refilled original pod. Unfortunately, just like refilling an original pod, they don't provide a good cup of coffee compared to the original pods.I've tried multiple different grinds and the strongest roast possible and the coffee still comes out looking like a cup of tea.Unfortunately I can't seem to find a suitable alternative to the original Vertuo pods that can make a decent cup of coffee.I'm beginning to think the original pods contain a concentrated blend that allows it to provide a flavorful cup of coffee which a refill POD simply cannot.
