If you want to hear an extremely annoying sound, it is 15 middle-aged men playing beer league hockey simultaneously blowing these when our team scores a goal. Our team name is the mighty ducks. Seems fitting.It seems that if you use this duck call for anything other than calling actual ducks, you're good to go so keep that in mind.

Call works, lanyard is useless
Bought so my 7 year old gRanddaughter could participate in dog training. Lanyard won't even go over 7 year olds head. Picked this model because it dame with the lanyard. Duck cal works fine.

Experienced hunter here. This appears to be one of those low dollar shames to take you money. It’s a cheap crow call at best. Strongly recommend Amazon block this listing.

Cat repellant?
After reading some suggestions, I purchased this as an aid for training a couple of mischievous kittens who seemed indifferent to the usual water guns, cans of coins, and so forth. This definitely gets their attention!Possibly the little.... fellows will eventually learn to cope with this as well, but at least for now when I catch one of them shredding the blinds, a toot of my trusty duck call send him on his way. Highly recommended.
