Very nice, heavy and well finished piece. You can use this as an entry table, a sofa table or a media stand. I did not find any instructions, but assembly is very straightforward. There are only 8 same sized screws to attach the legs to the table top, and the bottom shelf is attached by screwing on the feet. An Allen wrench was included. The only other tool needed is a Phillips screwdriver to remove a shipping brace. I would only reccomend a second set of hands to attach the bottom shelf to prevent accidentally scratching it. $281 shipped to my door was less than half of retail and assembly a five minute job. FedEx was rough on this shipment- (I have video cameras) but despite the condition of the box the table was delivered in flawless condition, so it is obviously well packed. This is by far the nicest piece of new wood furniture I have ever found for under $300. This is the perfect size for putting my receiver and turntable on top and albums underneath. No worries about vibration- this table is solid a a rock.

With anything I buy online, the expectation is it will be cheaply made out of cheap products.This is not that at all.This is an extremely well built solid wood table. The dimensions also set it appart from other offerings in the same category. It is massive compared to most and with that extra size it is sturdy.Easily my best Amazon purchase in the last 12 months.

I ordered 4 of these tables and all 4 of them was absolutely broken to pieces when ups delivered them.

Just took this out of the box, and silly me I didn't carefully inspect every piece before assembling. Flipped it over and discovered the corner of the table had been badly smashed... looks like it likely was dropped during shipping.It's a shame that they can't seem to zero in on the safety of the product during shipping thing, because other than that damage it is a beautiful piece of furniture, and much more solid and nicer than I expected to get when comparing to similar products found in local stores.Hopefully the return process won't be too painful and I'll be able to update this review with better news.UPDATE: seller was very accommodating with the return process through Amazon. They only requested a picture of the damage and offered either a 50% refund, or they would send a new one and we could dispose of the old one however we like. We chose the former option and decided to consider it a "factory second" purchase. Fortunately, the construction is so solid that the damage is purely cosmetic.

The table arrived damaged. When trying to get a new one I was told I would have to return it & order a new one. If I reordered I would have to pay the new price which was $150 more. I ended up taking a $130 discount but Not Happy! I will never order any furniture from Amazon again. I spend thousands of dollars on Amazon & they could care less about customers. The table is beautiful. Very heavy & the damage is in the drawer in the back. For some reason it won't let me post a picture.

It's so rare to find decent furniture anywhere, especially if you don't want to pay a fortune. This table is solid, heavy, and looks pretty high end. I'm using it in my dining room more like a buffet, so the drawers being set up as a media table don't work for me, but since they still pull out like drawers it isn't a problem at all. The finish is beautiful too!

Very happy with purchase. This is a sturdy quality product and worth the money. It looks very nice.

Really nice piece. Does not look "cheap" but more like something purchased in a furniture store. Easy to assemble--only the legs and feet had to be put on. It is rather heavy so you definitely need two people. My only complaint is that the feet were packed in a cardboard box and wedged inside one of the drawers, making it very difficult to access them as the drawer could not be opened. Otherwise the packaging was excellent. We had our tv hung on the wall and needed somewhere to put the cable box and modem. This was perfect because of the drop down drawer fronts.
