It's okay but I wanted it to but it does not do with the master volume and remote
The media could not be loaded. Well it's okay for now I bought this preamp to improve my 5.1 surround sound systems and the reason why I say systems I got two connected together to be used as one so you might as well say it's a 10.2 surround sound system the preamp would be a good addition because I thought that the remote control that comes with it controls the master volume it does not it only controls the SD card and the USB oh and FM radio it changes the mode for the channels so if you need to use Bluetooth or the FM radio but it does not control the master volume which is what I needed it for but it does do something that I kind of like it records with the SD card on all the channels so whatever I hook up to I can record it so that's a good feature the quality of this unit is kind of low but it stands out pretty good it works pretty good it records pretty good and my surround sound system sounds pretty good along with the EQ so every little piece is needed to have the same work but if they do make a new one of these please make it where the remote control controls the base the mid-range the trouble and the master volume too but all in all this little unit will do for now it has made my surround sound system a little better so I'm going to make do with it and it does look good I kind of like it now.Update! I have been playing the 10.2 surround sound custom system for over a month now. Now I'm using my phone with Bluetooth I'm very impressed what this preamp is doing for the system now I'm playing some days other than movie night I am using the Bluetooth built into the preamp receiver with my phone the remote control of the preamp controls the tracks from my playlist on my phone and the volume was the remote on the preamp I can change track or play the track again with the preamp remote control the sound quality is very good the Bluetooth Channel does not go through the EQ that I have hooked up that is a different Channel but the sound quality is really great it is sounding better than I thought I have been tuning it up more and more each time I use it but now the Bluetooth with my phone has really impressed me the remote control that comes with it is a plus I can set the phone down and don't have to go back to the phone to change the tracks or pause it. And even works good on YouTube or whatever I'm listening to I listen to Mixcloud and I have my mixes on Mixcloud that's a website for DJs and music lovers and I am able to control the play button on that website with the remote control to the preamp that is definitely a plus impressive you can't get no better than that that is something different has changed the game for me and this friend I like it more and more so certain things that it didn't do when I first got it this now the features has changed the way I feel about this preamp it has made this system very customized I love it now more than I did I'm glad I gave it a chance I'm glad that I studied with it a little bit more then when I first got it it's working great and I hope it keeps working it's a great little upgrade to this system go out and get one and try for yourself you may like it just as much as I'm starting to like it it has really impressed me now! Update one thing I don't like about it again is that the monitor for the tape decks do not work I tested it and I'm an old school person I wanted to hook up my tape deck to it when I looked it up it doesn't work but I have another way of hooking it up I can connect it up to auxiliary one or using the 3.5 Jack in the front for input one and I also has an input in the back and for recording on the tape I can use the master output jacks on the back they got two outputs and RCA and one output and XLR right and left for each so there is a way to hook it up and use it but that's a feature they need to remove if they're not going to use it or fix it but all in all it has now grown and rank so it is a good little unit I done had this preamp for over 2 months now and I'm liking it more and more so if you don't mind some of the features that it doesn't do well I didn't get it it seems to do the job and get the job done I will buy it again.

I'm happy with it.
Both Pyle and Rockville have inexpensive products and some are good, while other items are junk. I mean, do they really believe their $150 receiver can provide 3,000 watts?????With that being said, I am happy I got this tuner/pre-amp and it works fine for my secondary sound system I have (consisting of old & random equipment I have). I have several old Kenwood power amps I've had for over 30 years as well as some very old Bose speakers and passive subwoofers. This is a very cheap unit, but it's nice that it has a built-in tuner and bluetooth. It also has 2 sets of outputs which is nice. It's a bit disappointing that there aren't any memory presets for radio stations and the remote only controls have of the features of the unit, but then again, this is very inexpensive.Seeing that this has the potential to be hooked up to some powerful amplifiers, it would be nice if the volume control was a bit more sensitive. As it is, it's a bit hard to control the output at low levels. In my case, I also have a small, quality mixer connected to this system and so I use that to control the signal going to my amps.In all, I'm happy with this unit and feel it's a good value for the price which was less than $67 when I purchased it.

Great little Pre-Amp for the money!
The first unit I received showed various signs of use/wear (scratches on the screen and front bezel, fingerprints, loose screws, and a missing knob). I purchased this product listing as "New", so I expect it to arrive in pristine condition as I'm sure any buyer would. I immediately sent it back for a replacement assuming I was sent a used/refurbished order by mistake. The Amazon return/replacement process was easy as per the usual (fast, free, and painless). To my pleasant surprise the second unit arrived in perfect condition, both visually and operationally. Not sure if this was a QC issue on Pyle's or Amazon's behalf.I thoroughly tested the Pyle PPRE70BT Pre-Amplifier using an oscilloscope and an assortment of both vintage and new age audio hardware. I'm more than happy with the results, however the input lines are a bit noisy. This can be easily mitigated with a grounding wire and some high quality RCA cables, ensuring any interference is as isolated from the unit as possible. Strangely, the XLR line-out jacks are not balanced though the RCA line-out jacks are, not a huge deal just be cognoscente of this when connecting other equipment accordingly. Headphone, microphone and auxiliary jacks are clean sounding and placed conveniently on the front left of the unit. All buttons function as expected and feel good to the touch, knobs are smooth and have a quality feel. The Bluetooth signal is strong (1 or 2ch @16bit, 44100Hz) and FM reception is decent, even without the use of the included antenna (tested in a concrete basement with other wireless technology in use). The front facing USB port and SD card slot add connectivity features some may appreciate. Having the ability to record directly to either of these devices is an added bonus that a lot of equipment in this price range lacks. Tape monitor capability is an increasingly rare option these days but still very useful and works as advertised. Remote is small and lacking but acceptable.Overall I'm satisfied with the purchase of this piece of audio equipment despite initially having been delivered damaged hardware. This is my first time buying/using any product by Pyle, I'd heard conflicting reports regarding the brand over the years but "you can't knock it 'till you try it"...and I'm glad I did! I will update this review during the one year warranty period if my opinion is subject to change or the product stops working nominally. If your reading this or other reviews in an attempt to gain some foresight before you buy, all I can say is give it a go and if you don't like it, return it.
