A Must Have
What a great product, I am very pleased.Compressor is easy to use and reaches all 4 tires of my 2020 Chevy Equinox with ease.No need to stop at a gas station and scramble for quarters to use on an air pump again, add to cart!

Works ok
I wish the short cord was screw on so that I could add a longer cord with a quick connect to it like my other Slime compressor. I hate having to screw on the connection. The short cord quick connect is weird in that when the handle is up it's connected, not bad just different. They give you a longer cord to add but that is screw on. I have to look at it more to see if I can add a third party quick connect to it like I did to my other Slime compressor. I would have given a 5 star rating if the connection was the way I want. I use a cane so trying to bend down to screw on a connection is less than desirable.

Update
Slime products have been good to me in the past.Unfortunately i recieved a defective item. Motor would not run just kind of wobbled and sputtered a little. Exactly how another costumer showed in their video, which i thought was a little funny until now. Karma. Anyways, now i have to pay 12 dollars to return an item that was broken. Not real happy. *update* it wasnt the item that was defective it was my 12volt cigarette lighter socket on my car not putting out enough juice. I tried it in my truck lighter socket and it worked fine

Does not work after one brief use
I used the device to top off one tire, so in total maybe 5 psi has been produced by the unit. That time it worked ok. On the positive side, a rotating collar makes attaching the hose to the tire valve stem easy. Also nice is a little compartment on the compressor that holds (and comes with) different attachments for the hose, including a needle that can be used for inflatable balls, etc. The unit is WYSIWYG and the LCD display is nice, as is the lamp / flashlight on the side. The problem for me of course is that the second time I took it out to use it, it powered on but the compressor/pump would not run, no matter what I tried. The troubleshooting section in the product guide was useless. If the device doesn’t work after only the very slightest of use, and after staying tucked away in its carrying case in a cushioned area and mostly in a temperature-controlled space it’s hard to rate it anything but 1 star. Caveat Emptor. The warranty is 1 year from the Slime parent company, and my unit is inconveniently just out of that period. I have some knowledge of electronics repair so I am going to pop the cover and see what I can do.One other thing: I have a tiny Slime inflator that is about 10 years old and about 3”x3”x1”. I’ve inflated or topped off tires maybe 100 times with that unit and it still runs. One feature that would be nice to have is the ability to plug the unit into a standard outlet, so that it could be used away from your vehicle, or when the keys are not with the vehicle.

Did not explode
Have used it 3 times so far, has not exploded. So I guess it’s a reasonably good product

Best value for high performance tire inflator
I bought Slime 40030 to replace the old one. This model is analog but I like it much better than the the Slime 40063 Digital model (which I bought for my other house thinking the digital setting is easier to use) because 40030 is light weight and delivers the tire pressure exactly what it shows on the gauge. On the contrary, the 40063 with Digital setting always gave 2 psi lower than what was set. Not a good performance.I am going to buy another Slime 40030, and returning the Digital version, which is by the way almost twice the price.
