The case is well built and feels sturdy in the hand. The colors are perfect and is holographic from different angles. She showed it to her sister and now she wants one too. I know what to get her for her sisters bday. The magnets are strong, we use a phone mount in the car and been over a few bumps on the freeway and the phone stayed put. Its taken a beating over the last couple of months and held up great. No damage to the phone. Has not started to yellow - yet and we're going on over six months. Have held other clear cases, and this one is superior.

The case is definitely made to be protective, with outcroppings jutting from the camera bump and corners to protect the phone during a drop. The color isn't quite clear - more of a yellowish-green, but the recipient of the gift didn't seem to mind. 5 months later and still holding up well from daily use.

This case is cute. Phone fits into it easily. It is quite the hassle to take off tho. Your phone will not easily come out of this case. So if u like to switch cases often u will be annoyed at how hard this case is to take off. It is quite bulky as well. I would be willing to accept that and sacrifice on the bulkiness issue if it was bulky for a reason. I thought the bulkiness was because it was a MagSafe case. But the actual adhesion of the magnet part is just mediocre. It definitely does hold onto a MagSafe charger but is it secure? Not really. Easily slides around the back of the case instead of staying put. It’s even dropped my portable apple magsafe charger a couple times. So for the price of this phone case I expected a lot more. It’s overpriced majorly for a mediocre case. I’ve bought cheap phone cases that performed better for ten dollars. And they were half the bulkiness. This phone case literally doubled the thickness of my phone. Super bulky and heavy for no reason. I’d advise buying a cheaper case save ur money. Paying more money doesn’t always mean ur getting better quality and this is a perfect example.

For context, I'm writing this review after 9 months (purchased in March 2022) of daily use of this case, and the subsequent warranty submission for a replacement.TL;DR: Issues other Amazon reviews report regarding case quality (discoloration and peeling of outer material and magnet) are issues I also experienced. My warranty replacement experience has been burdensome, more on this in my review.Before purchasing the case, I'd read other Amazon reviews regarding the button and cutout misalignment (let's call this one v1) and decided to purchase in the hopes I'd get an updated case with the correct alignments (this one we'll call v2). I received the v2 case that fit my phone perfectly and I happily used it daily on my iPhone 13 Pro.Fast forward to a couple of weeks ago (November 2022) when the outer material started peeling off in chunks so I visited the case-mate website to initiate the warranty replacement process. The actual initiation of the warranty replacement was seamless and quick. You provide proof of purchase and photos of the defective product, pay the shipping and you're done. I submitted my warranty request on 30 Nov and it was delivered on 2 Dec, so fairly quick shipping I'll give them that.Here's where things go left: the warranty replacement case case-mate sent is a v1 case with misaligned buttons and cutouts. I contact customer service immediately (I was only able to get a hold of a live agent via their chat function on the website) and let them know that the warranty replacement case fits my phone incorrectly. They ask for video proof and, at first, I was at a loss on how to provide this (use phone to make video of case not fitting the phone?? Make it make sense), but figure out a way and send a side-by-side comparison of my current case (v2) and the warranty replacement case (v1). They escalate to their manager and a few days later I hear back. Here's what the manager said:"A running change was made after the case was originally produced to allow for better button alignment compatible with both the 12 Pro and 13 Pro so the buttons do look different but should still function as needed. The camera area was tweaked a little bit too based on some feedback. I hate to ask a silly question but have you tried the case on the phone yet by chance? It may look different but should fit and function just fine. Can you confirm and let me know please?"Case-mate wants me to use the misaligned v1 case as the replacement for my defective v2 case.I responded and let them know that the misaligned buttons and cutouts make it difficult to use as my hand dexterity isn't great, this experience has been awful, and if they can send a warranty replacement case that fits my phone correctly. I don't yet have a response.For cases at this price point you expect quality -- and if/when that fails -- good customer service. For me, Case-mate misses the mark for both. If you decide to purchase, may the odds be ever in your favor.

I love this case, the magnetic feature is very strong! The case lips over the edges of the phone so when it falls face down it doesn’t impact the screen and also there are raised corners on the back of the case so that it’s never in contact with the surface enhancing the protection for the lenses.

Ordered this for my wifes iPhone 13 Pro. Today we discovered her back glass was shattered?! This case looks great, but offers zero protection, and now we gotta get a $400 repair from apple.

Really happy with this case. It is even prettier in person! The iridescence is just beautiful. It is solid and gives great protection for my phone. It works very well with magnets. Can’t comment as to yellowing (most clear cases do) as I’ve only had it a month. Would absolutely recommend and buy again.
