Interesting, funny stories, nice illustrations. great variety of easier, shorter sentences and more complex ones. Both my kids (girl and boy) enjoy(ed) reading these books a lot. (reading level: I, J, 1st grade)

My daughter loves them so much we have read each atleast six times. Henry and Mudge go on cute adventures that only a boy and his best friend can do.

Our six year old great granddaughter sat down and read three of the six books by herself. Kept her very entertained.
