I have pantry closet that leads into my crawl space. The closet is deeper than standard so a single light bulb doesn't cut it. This lighting system is exactly what I needed. I am not a fan of 5000K (day light) colored lights, this is 3000K (yellow). I ran the 6 light bars around the door frame and the light hits every corner. With LEDs power is low but light output is high.Packaging was great. Nice and neat. It came with all parts and easy to assemble. It has tape strips to attach velcro if you are placing them on fabric and screws to hold them in place. I went with the screws, it wasn't easy due to the locations I had them but screws worked great and there were extra in case you lose one. This product lacked one thing I would have loved to have, a two way splitter. I had to be creative to run the light bars around the door frame. A splitter would have resolved that issue in a second. Other products with splitters came in 5000K but I have other applications for this lighting setup so I'll keep looking. To get the this light to work, I purchased a light bulb 3 prong AC plug adapter. I plugged the LED lights into that adapter and I kept the light bulb as well, so there is plenty of light shining.I would give this a 4.5 star since it lacks a splitter but it wasn't designed for closets. I'm keeping it at 5 stars since it does it job very well. You can also purchase additional light bars and you will need a higher powered AC adapter to push the extra lights. Check with the manufacturer what the max light bars limit is before purchasing.

This is a very good little kit. It’s super easy to put together and has enough extenders and bars to illuminate an 18 gun safe well. You just have to play with the spacing and locations for what works for you but I love them. Great fit and very bright. The rocker switch harness is a good length too so you can mount the switch in a good spot. Highly recommended. I bought the “used” kit and I’m pretty sure it was just a new kit but in plastic instead of a box. No regrets !

TORCHSTAR LED Safe Lighting Kit--contained everything I needed! The components are well made and work as designed. There were cable-extenders included if you need to space your lights a little further apart or turn a corner. I installed these lights in a 7' closest (2 above the shelf level and 4 below it). The power supply has a decent length electrical cord that easily reached the electrical outlet nearest the closet. We went with the whiter light to help in distinguishing colors inside the closet, it does the job--brightness is perfect for a closet! One tip from another customer, and it also worked well for me, was using masking tape to temporarily put the lights in place until I was sure the lighting was appropriately placed. For now I'm using the 3M two-sided tape provided to mount the lights, it's strong and seems sufficient--I'll only use the screws (provided) to mount the lights if the tape fails. I am very pleased with the installation, and my wife is very, very pleased with the results!! I'll update this review if the status of anything changes in the future--no news is good news.

These lights were very easy to work with. I have a Milsbo display case from IKEA and it was challenging to find lights that work with it. I didn’t want lights in the bottom of the shelves. I also wanted black to match my case which is what initially drew me to these. They work perfectly positioned in the front-corner of each shelf and super easy to chain together. The power cord is pretty long as well and worked great coming out the bottom of the display. The brightness is also perfect for what I needed. I’m going to be getting another case soon so will be ordering more some more of these lights.

I was worried that the tape on the lights would not hold against the felt inner lining of the safe. I was wrong and it is holding great.The lights are bright enough to see everything you have in your safe without blinding you.Due to the size of the power cable, the hole I needed to drill into the safe was actually quite small in comparison to one that might use a larger plug.There is not a motion sensor on the unit. So it remains on unless you flip the switch. Who wants to flip a switch everytime they open their safe? There are ones out there with motion. If I was to order again, I would look at those.With everything said, the lights work, the adheasive works, My safe has lights, so i am happy with the product.

I figured I'd give these a try thinking they would not give off enough light (large safe). I admit I am impressed. Though they supply enough light to the safe, I 'may' get another strand to add on, but that's really because I love light. The included strands are on the front interior and go all the way around a safe that's 6' tall and 3' or more wide and at least 3' deep. They give enough light for the entire safe.

Always wanted lights in my safe. This was easy to install, bright, just right! I like that it comes with Velcro strips to hold it to the carpet lining inside.
