Works great on Ford Coyote engine balancer
Great tool and cheap! Removed a Gen 2 Ford Coyote balancer in seconds. Works perfect and super easy to use!

I would give 6 stars!
my regular 3 arm puller snapped trying to remove the balancer off my Coyote engine (gen 1). THIS TOOL pulled it off without any issues. I have a good chunk of automotive tools in the garage from Amazon, this is the most effective and quality "specialty tool" in my box

It worked well, unsure of sturdiness.
I used this tool to remove a harmonic balancer pulley from a 6.0L LS engine. The pulley came off with ease when I got the jaws attached correctly. However, I'm not sure if the long shaft was bent before I got it, or I bent it during use. I had some issues getting the jaws to stay on the pulley for removal (my fault, not the tool). When I got them to stay, I noticed the puller wobbling as I removed the pulley. After the pulley was off, I examined the shaft, and sure enough, it was bent. I didn't use the tool other than how it was intended, so I'm not sure what happened. It still works, just wobbly.

I bought the cheap one just to turn around and buy this...
As the title said, I wanted to save like 25$ on a cheaper set. Don't get me wrong, it was a durable kit but the tolerances where so bad and the push rod got stuck in my 4.7L's crankshaft.I purchased this and in like 5 minutes it got it off, took a bit to grip my busted up balancer... The green enamel paint really makes it tougher than it needs to be. but I finally got it off.Pros:Its the right tool for my 4.7L chrysler powertechCons:The paint on the claws make it harder than it needs to be.Also if you use this, be sure to use some gear grease or something like that on both ends of the push rod. Will keep you from tearing up the rod.Just buy the right tool the first time. Dont go saving a dollar on a tool.
