This thing screws into the ground OK , but it doesn’t match up to any posts that I can buy , so I would have to construct the entire post , myself. That’s beyond my capability or patience ! I just ordered another post , mailbox assembly that was easier to install.

I’m old thought I’d have a problem but it was very easy created a very stable mailbox post

This is so much easier than digging a hole, mixing concrete etc. The mail box post is very sturdy when attached to the anchor, also easier to make adjustments to. level the post

Takes a but of muscle once you get near the bottom and you have to keep it plum the whole way down but it is not too hard to do and it is sturdy

Make sure you don't have cement where you are putting it like I did. This is a great 👍 piece for installing a mailbox.

Does not work in hard clay

Worked well to install a base for a shed instead of using concrete. Can be hard to get to maximum depth, but using a breaker bar for the last few turns made it possible.
