Both the bottom is electronic pulsations as well as the TENS
Too much stimulation. We use TENS all the time so we are familiar with what it is. Was looking for a combination of reflexology and the TENS and it is has too much pulsation for my foot.

An Electrical Stimulator, Not Really A Massager
This unit really isn’t a massager, like a vibration or deep tissue massager. This is an electrical stimulation (2 different kinds) with heat. If you don’t care for ES or have a medical condition where you shouldn’t use it, this machine isn’t for you.The CINCOM Foot Circulation Stimulator with Heat, EMS TENS Unit with 4 Electrode Pads combines two different types of electrical stimulation: Electrical Muscle Stimulation, through the foot pads you place your bare feet on, and TENS which is delivered through the electrodes you place where you want. You can use both types at the same time. I had to turn up the intensity to about 40 before I started feeling the EMS on the foot plates. If you aren’t feeling anything, just keep gradually turning it up until you feel the tingling sensation. This isn’t battery operated, so you’ll need access to an outlet to use it. The electrodes won’t last forever, they are semi disposable. You should anticipate having to purchase replacement electrodes if you will be using the TENS function.Pros:* You can operate the machine from the faceplate of the unit or remote control. The remote is nice so you don’t have to bend over to control the unit.* The display is easy to read.* While the unit is large, it’s much lighter than other foot massagers I’ve used.* I personally love the way electrical stim feels, so I liked the feeling.* The intensity levels go up in small increments, so you don’t run the risk of “zapping” yourself.* The TENS electrodes adhered well but didn’t take my skin off removing them.Cons:* I could never feel any heat with this machine. I don’t know if that feature is broken on my machine or what. It says it gets to 120 degrees, which I should definitely be able to feel. It lights up, I just don’t feel any difference in temperature.* It has a pretty hefty price tag. While it has two different types of electrical stimulation, you are restricted to the EMS being used for the lower legs (I felt it up to my knees) and the TENS while you are using the foot massager (it’s not portable like a stand alone TENS unit).* While there are several different “modes” I wasn’t clear on what the real difference between them is. I’m not sure which mode is best for what type of issue you are wanting to address.* At the price, I felt they could give you at least one extra set of TENS electrodes.I liked the EMS part pretty well. I think I would have been much happier with the overall experience if I had actually felt some heating when using it. Considering the price and lack of warmth, I can only give this an average rating.

Good ems massager.
The type of devices are commonly used in certain injury therapies, they use electrical pulses to stimulate muscles. They are also used as muscle massagers, but not everyone is willing to try them because of fear of being shocked. The amount of electricity used by these devices is not enough to cause harm, but the pads should still only be placed in areas marked safe in the placement chart. I've used different ems massagers for different body parts and this has been my favorite so far because you just place your feet on the device and let it do its thing. I don't like using the pads to avoid the wires and reusable adhesive but they are included with the device and work great. The size of the massager is a bit large but it easily fits under my bed. The massager also has a heating feature that warms up the arch of your foot. The massager is super easy to use, it basically has four controls. Sole level is used to start the ems massage and choose the intensity level, Pad level does the same thing but for the pads, Mode is to choose the massage type, this device has a mode option for the pads and feet independently. The description of each mode is found in the user manual, mode pretty much changes what part of the foot the massager focuses on, the display will also illustrate this. The massager includes a remote and is preset to operate for 30 min maximum, i don't recommend restarting the massager after the timer ends, its best to wait a few hours before reusing to avoid issues. One important thing to consider before getting a device like this is that not everyone likes ems massages, i wasn't able to convince anyone in my family to try this massager because they were too scared to use it. These massagers are mostly for people who have tried them before and feel comfortable with them or people who are open to new things. Overall the massager works perfectly for me, i haven't had any issues with it. I also like that this brand seems to mostly make massager devices, which means that they probably know what they are doing when designing a device like this.
