Fun book for grade level and an interesting way to start the 3rd grade with someHumor !

I took a chance on this one, as I didn't know the author and I'm always skeptical about writing styles for early readers. This one was funny and engaging, if a bit silly. The vocabulary is mostly controlled, though it could be a bit better. Mostly readable on an independent basis, which is important.

We love this series and would love to see even more books!
