Holding up very well so far on wrestling boots!
I needed some thin rubber sole material to put on a pair of pro-wrestling boots that would be able to withstand the rigors of a wrestling match. I was a bit skeptical of buying this (as I have never done any shoe modifications before), but gave it a shot. The sheet that the sole material came on was large, enough to cover the soles of two size 14 boots. One side is the actual rubber grip material, and the other is smooth. It was very easy to trace and cut out the sole shape with a regular pair of scissors. It's important to note that the rubber sheet does not have any adhesive, so you will need to have your own to get this to stick to your shoe. I used Weldwood Rubber contact cement, applied it to the rubber sole and the bottom of the boot, let it sit for about 10-15 minutes, then pressed them together. Finally, I cut and sanded down the edges of the sole.In the end, it works great! It provides good traction, was very easy to cut and modify, and is holding up well. We will see how well it stands the test of time, but so far, 5 stars, no complaints whatsoever.

Works as advertised.
I have a pair of hiking sandals that I really love, but the tread has pretty much worn off. I did not want to junk them because other than the wear, they were otherwise in excellent shape, especially considering the use I put them through. I decided I wanted to try to retread them and found this product, along with the "Shoe-Fix Glue". When this product along with the glue finally arrived on my door step, I went and did the retreading work on those sandals. Just yesterday, I took them out on a good muddy 6 1/2 mile hike along the river and this stuff worked! The glue held fast and this material added the much needed traction back, especially as muddy the trails were. Did not slip once, as I was skeptical since the traction on this material did not seem as aggressive as the original treading on the sandals were! Not only that, but this material really held up well and did not show any signs of initial wear. Will be interesting to see how it holds up over the course of the spring and summer. Either case, there are at least two more pairs of shoes I want to retread that are otherwise in excellent shape, so I ended up ordering three more sheets of this and another bottle of the "Shoe-Fix Glue".

Holding up
Glued these with rubber cement on the bottom of some Sanuk shoes that were wearing through about 6 months ago or so…they’ve held up well so far and while it’s thin rubber it seems durable. It was enough material to do both shoes, size 11 men’s

DISAPPOINTING
Disappointing Product: Poor AdhesionI purchased this shoe sole protector with high expectations, but unfortunately, it turned out to be a big disappointment. The rubber piece reacts poorly to shoe glue, drying up and curling without adhering properly to the shoe sole. Despite following the instructions carefully and using a quality adhesive, the protector wouldn’t stick and started warping almost immediately. The material feels flimsy and poorly designed for its intended purpose. It defeats the whole point of protecting the soles if it can't stay in place!Save your money and look for a better alternative. This one just isn’t worth the hassle.

It's pretty good but bad for the wet floor.
The quality is pretty good. Its good on cement floor. However it's very slippery on the wet floor or kitchen floor.
