Used the M6 as soon as I got this product. Worked great and everything went super well. It was easy to use. The only thing I would have liked is a hard case to store it in but I will figure something out.

I purchased this because I am building a truck in my garage and wanted to have bolts thread in and not held on by nuts. After using it the first time, it became clear that this tool was going to cause issues.1. Handles are too short for proper expansion of the inserts.2. The top of the tool bent and spread. (see attached Photos)3. The mandrel back is deforming and not making the operation work properly. (see attached Photos)If I could have returned this I would but since the return window closed for me in april and I started to use the product in May I am out the money. Learn from me and DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT. I was a Honda Certified Technician for over 12 years. I know how to operate tools.

Excellent Heavy Duty Rivet Nut Tooli hesitated to buy this after reading some of the other reviews — but i’m very glad i bought it anyway.it works perfectly, is made very well and is indeed heavy duty.i used it to replace stripped threads in heavy-gauge metal tubing and i couldn’t be happier.i think people are trying to use too much pressure when it doesn’t take all that much force to seat a rivet nut properly.and the reviewer who claimed several nuts were stripped probably over-forced it and stripped the nuts in doing so. if you are expecting it to “pop” like a pop rivet gun, you are using too much force and stripping the threads.i find that many people do not follow directions and then come on here and blame the product. they should buy a mirror and look into it instead.this tool is excellent — comes with a hard case — and a great selection of rivet nuts.

Bought this for a specific project and the M3 mandrel (most tools don't have M3). On the first use the threads of the mandrel pulled loose, didn't finish the compression and left me stranded without finishing the project and a half compressed rivnut spinning loosely in the project.The metal used on the mandrels is made of poor/weak material.I returned this tool and bought a different brand that worked beautifully. The mandrels on the new tool are a black hardened steel that worked as expected.
