I needed something affordable that I could use to freeze meat and veggies for long time storage.......this is it. My mom has a vaccine sealer 3 times this price and this isn't as fancy but works just as well for vaccum sealing. Would definitely recommend.

This product was paid for and in my hand so quick I have not used it yet🤗. So, I probably shouldn't be writing a review yet🤔, but I wanted to speak to the appearance of the item and the gadgets it has to offer. It is a really sleek design and extremely lightweight. I was instantly fascinated with the fact that the scale locks in underneath. Therefore, if you don't want to use it the machine for a while, it can remain on the countertop, because it almost disappears without the attachment connected to the top. I really like digital everything and I am hoping that this purchase works out well for me, because I am sold on the design, but I realize functionality is paramount.

It’s not easy to use. The sealer works great.... but when you use the suction and the sealer together, for a short time it’s all perfect, within a couple hours, we noticed the seal wasn’t broken but the suction had left…. Doesn’t make sense I know, but that’s what happens and we did it several times. So we just use the sealer.

It's only been a week but so far I absolutely love this machine. Very easy to use and gives multiple options to properly seal almost anything and I love having a kitchen scale. It seems that no matter how many layers of plastic wrap, foil and/or plastic bags I used the food in my freezer developed frost and I'd end up throwing away food because of the taste. I've actually unwrapped the food that was in my freezer and resealed it all. Assuming it continues to work so well it has the potential to be quite a money saver

Return the first one. Replacement arrived quickly. It works great. (1st one was defective: Will not come up to Vacuum pressure, and then shut off. I like all the features of this unit, if only it would work correctly.)

I purchased this item due to hit overall good reviews to vacuum seal food items harvested from the garden and fruit trees this season. Unfortunately, it was two and a half months after I receive the item before we tried to use it for the first time. This meant the return window for Amazon was already closed.There are no directions for use in the box with this item. Your best option is to find other users who have posted on youtube offering how to use this. I could not find any instructions direct from the manufacture so there is a possibility my wife and I just do not know how to make this work.Out of ten bags of peaches, only one was vacuumed and sealed correctly.Two other bags were sealed but they would not vacuum to remove air. The only positive is that they did seal although both had tears from the heating element near the seal.Seven of the bags would not seal or vacuum and despite multiple attempts and tries we could not get it to work at all.After messing with this device for over two hours to make it work and figure it out, I finally put it back in the box and made a trip to Kroger where I bought a Food Saver brand vacuum sealer that worked like a charm right out of the box.Save your money and frustration and look for other options if you are considering this item. It does not work.

I portion control due to making my budget go further & to help with my weight. The scale is a nice feature for the vacuum sealer or even for other food weighing I do. I had to watch some videos online to figure out exactly how to use the vacuum sealer, since this was my first, but after that it was easy.

At first when I bought this unit (April 28, 2021) it worked great. Then about 3 months later, the right side of the sealer stopped locking. The button is in-places and seems to work, the locking tab is in-place, not cracked, and it moves back and forth when the button is pressed and released. I've glanced over a few other reviews complaining about the right side lock, so it seems to be "a thing" with this model.The machine still functions, but it requires that I press down and hold the right side of the sealer until its done vacuum sealing. I took some time getting this review posted because I've been 1. busy and 2 upset that I didn't the protection plan. Opening and closing will be the most performed action on these things, I thought I would have at least gotten a years good work out of the latches at . This thing started failing at 3 months.I think it would be a great vacuum sealer weren't for this issue. It just bums me out every time when I go to vacuum seal something, and I have assist the machine to do its job. Its also embarrassing to use around friends. If guests are visiting and I happen to use it, do my "Hey Look over there!!!" trick to focus their attention else where, while I quickly fire up the vacuum sealer. LoL. These type of problems may appear to be small to the seller (maybe/ maybe not), but 1 thing is for sure, it ensures that friends and family NOT recommend this vacuum sealer to each other. And even if it was recommended, who would buy it if they were to see this non-locking right side issue?If there is a known fix for the right side latch please publish it .
