Great resource, wish I had when I started residency!
This is a great resource to have, especially residents beginning their radiology careers or about to take call (R1s and R2s). One of the difficulties when first starting out is what to actually look for on all the different scans that you'll see. This book nicely organizes studies both by organ system and modality so the type of study you need a search pattern for is easy to locate in the book. Each search pattern/description is very thorough.I think it's also helpful more experienced radiologists as well to have on hand as a quick reference for certain types of studies you may not be used to reading/out of your specialty. It's an incredible value for only $20 as most other textbooks cost hundreds of dollars, so this is definitely worth it. Highly recommended!!

For radiology trainees looking to establish a reasonable search pattern.
When I was training as a radiology resident/fellow, multiple times I thought to myself “Where do I even begin to look?” Even once I had a search pattern and made the finding, a case would come along that I would miss and then have to add on to the search pattern again. This book gives the reader a nice place to start. I was also getting tired of reviewing my search pattern with every trainee rotating through neuroradiology, so hopefully this will allow us time to focus on more interesting aspects of radiology. Take the good, leave the not-so-good, and know that if you see a lot of cases and diligently study that you’ll be a good radiologist.

Great for the aspiring radiologist!!!
Great book, it covers such a fundamental aspect of radiology I really can't believe this hadn't existed before. It's easy to read (bullet points) and broken down nicely into relevant sections. I'd definitely recommend this for every radiology resident and/or anyone who needs to a quick refresher on certain topics. The insanely low price of this book is a true testament to the authors desire for universal access to quality radiology educational resources.

Excellent resource and guide!
A comprehensive exposition on search patterns in radiology that can also serve as a valuable reference. The author goes through a detailed exposition that advises the reader of relevant search patterns encompassing virtually all modalities and body systems. Each chapter is supported with expert experience. Believe me, you will want this at your side when interpreting Radiology exams! I only wish I had something like this earlier.

Outstanding book
This is a book I really wish existed during radiology residency. It’s a detailed and organized framework of what radiologists need to assess on imaging studies in their daily workflow. It even includes fluoro. Will definitely be using this during my Neuroradiology fellowship!

Okay…I guess
Let me summarize the book before you buy it.“Look at everything…“I guess I should’ve expected it.

Laudable effort but inefficient, redundant and not useful beyond a first perusal.
A long list of lists
