Perfect, identical to stock carb and for 40$ it’s worth not messing with the old one. Took out of box put it on and she runs like new! I figured I’d have to swap jets or mess with it but nope 100% plug n play! Will update after a few rides if my opinion changes.

Carburetor worked perfectly on my 2001 Honda 400 ex

I spend too many hrs trying to figure out why it was only running with choke closed. I decided to try a used one I had saved and it work way better than new one. Carb has no way to adjust air fuel mixture.

#1 The 2 screws holding the cover for the throttle cable needs to be removed to install the throttle cable, the junky phillips screws began to strip before you could get them to break loose, had to use vise grips to break them loose which was also hard to do due to the small pan style head on the screw. I was able to use the factory screws off the old carburetor which were made of brass for the install. #2: the fuel tank nipple on the new carburetor was larger than the original, the old fuel line would not fit and cracked trying to force it on, got a new fuel line finished install, engine started right up, purred like a kitten, and needed no adjusting for my all stock 2000 Honda 400ex

Perfect fit. I put this in my 04 trx400ex no issues at all hooked the feul line up and ran like it was brand new. This beats tearing down a carb and rebuilding for the price . I got the same one for my 2000 trx400ex and works flawless highly recommend . The jets are slightly larger in these carbs do not pull your old jets and out in these your atv will not run right just a fyi.

Replaced it for my OEM CARB but new replacement never idled correctly after first use????would like a replacement from seller says there is a 2year warranty???

1999 400EX. Needed a new carb in a pinch before a trip to Dumont. Cleaned all the jets really well from my old carb and placed them in this one. Quad fired right up and has ran great for multiple outings since.If you don’t know your way around a carb, there are several carb rebuild videos online to help you through it.

I'm not sure where or why some of the reviews are like they are. I have a 2005 Honda TRX400EX SPORTRAX, this carb bolted up fine. I did not need to swap anything out from my old carb. The only thing I needed to do was adjust the idle some and it's running perfectly. I couldn't be happier!
