This 'build yourself' blue tooth speaker is simply amazing! It was a lot of fun to put together with knowing that it was something you built all by yourself. The instructions were very comprehensive and easy to understand. The materials are very sturdy and of exceptional quality. And the sound is absolutely superior for a speaker of its size. It's crystal clear even when turned all the way up. The compact size of this speaker makes it perfect to place anywhere when you need a little music in your life. I highly recommend it for all ages from 9 to 99.

They loved that it was building to make something they could use and decorate themselves. A great bday present for a younger kid that is interested in building but also music. A couple pieces were tough since they required super fine motor skills but overall a win.

My 12 year old wasn't entirely sure what to do when she unwrapped this, but eventually the two of us sat and followed the instructions and assembled it. It was a good opportunity to practice following directions *to a tee*, because you gotta. Also a great way to spend time with your kid(s). The assembly sheet isn't especially great, but the critical info is there.When you're done, you've got a Bluetooth speaker that sounds not bad! Along with the "pride" of having built it!QUALMS: A couple minor pauses: 1. It's not as big as you think it's going to be. I included a photo with a pint glass, since most people know how big a pint glass is. 2. I do wish it had an auto power-off. It's powered by 4 AA batteries, and I see young minds forgetting to turn it off, and running the batteries down on the regular. So an auto-off would be nice.

I put 2 subs in it but the speakers that it came with will definitely be used in a separate build. The box is durable and the size is great. Took the an hour or so to build even with the rewiring of the speakers. Looks great when painted black. It’s very easy to use when finished. The Bluetooth works from a good enough distance. I would recommend this to someone who wants to have some fun building a little speaker well worth my money.

A Great gift for young boys

Plays 2 LOUD noises when turned on; probably why most users want a volume control.Fidelity is adequate for what it is. The replaceable battery battery pack means that it will last longer than the two years as all of my built-in “rechargeable” Bluetooth speakers have lasted. Score for the Earth! It was a fast fun project at a time when I needed it.Update: 4/2023 Damned cat flung it off the mantel, destroying the chip. I didn’t need the cat anyhow.

The media could not be loaded. The sound is better than expected, volume is nice. I picked this up for my RC trail trucks. It is heavy with 4 AA batteries, but Axial SCX24 lipo batteries plug right in. I used a sharpie to paint this box black. The build was super easy, but I would suggest a foam pad under the board. I will pick up several more for backup, and build my own box(s). The Bluetooth connection was simple and straightforward. The range is also good. I would suggest moving the power switch to the side panel. You should just pick one of these up for yourself.
