Absolutely the best purchase for working on pencil grip and practicing tracing. My son is Autistic, and likely adhd, and this actually keeps his full focus and attention because the magnets provide an immediate sensory feedback as we works through the letters. I love it. Great for little ones learning to write & hold pencils, My 4yr old likes to bring this with him when we travel out of state to visit family I also use it to help teach him how to identify the letters its literally a 3 in one if you do it like that

This product it just what I expected it would be, and both my 2 and 4 year olds enjoy playing with it. The magnets are strong, which is great for the functionality of the toy, but super dangerous in the event that the toy is broken and the magnets become accessible. Learning of the damage that magnets can cause internally if swallowed by small children has made me very cautious when using magnetic toys. In this toy’s defense, it does seem sturdy and well-made. I do believe it would take some serious effort to break and it is unlikely that the metal balls could be released, but it is still a possibility. Kids can be destructive. Accidents can happen. And an accident of a little one ingesting multiple strong magnets is not one I’m willing to risk. This toy is used with supervision in our household and is not kept in a place where it would be accessible independently. With that said, it is something that my kids have fun playing with and a novel way to practice forming letters! Just thought it was worth mentioning that caution should be used when providing small kids with magnets.

Its great! The button magnet thingies sometimes stop coming up though. Fantastic learning device and stim toy 😊

We love this! We got as a gift for our toddler and he loves it but we find ourselves playing with it as well. It’s nice to take in the car because there’s no pieces to lose.

The media could not be loaded.  This came in today and instantly was put to work between two 4 year olds. This gives the satisfaction by completing each letter almost . Do not buy the boring one.

I like that this motivates my son to practice his letters and the magnetic pull forces him to have good control for formation of the letters. I do have to limit his time on it because if I'm not watching he can have a poor grip and doesn't form his letters correctly. I can imagine that changing when he gets older though. It's very durable and colorful. The numbered instructions on sequence of forming the letters don't help those who can't read. Again more helpful for older kids.
