S&OP Bible
Orchestrating the Success is the bible for sales and operations planning. It goes with others valuable references and is a must-read book.

Short and to the point
A classic that is still relevant. Six chapters that spell it out, how to set up, run and control Sales and Ops Planning meetings.

Foundational reference for Sales & Operations Planning
This book was the first reference text for me for Sales & Operations Planning and remains my favorite to this day. Dick Ling and Walt Goddard are well respected practitioners whom many recognize as top subject matter experts on this subject. While I have added additional S&OP text references over the years as I focus on continuous improvement of S&OP in my company, this book is still my cornerstone on the subject.

Best intro to S&OP
This is, in my opinion, the best introduction to Sales & Operations Planning and what it can do for your business if done properly. If you have not implemented S&OP, you should - and you could do a lot worse than start here. The book explains it in simple terms, leading you through the ideas and inviting you to reflect on how they would work for your business. S&OP is simply a matter of joining up the plans in your business and checking that you are on track to achieve your strategy. Many businesses are surprisingly poor at doing this well and yet it is not difficult so read the book and get started.
