A great little clock
I wanted a cute clock that could be easily read across the room. This was exactly the clock I was looking for and did it's job perfectly, with the bonus of being readable with the lights off. It has a LOUD obnoxious alarm that made me drag myself out of bed at 6am and can be set so it doesn't go off on the weekends. I always forgot to change the battery when it wore out (about 1 year) and even when it didn't have enough juice to show the time the alarm still woke me up on time. Sadly a defective battery leaked and made it unusable. It worked perfectly for 3 years until a bad battery took it out. I miss it already and am buying my second one.Pro: Has extra features like temperature, date, and multiple alarms that can be set either daily or weekdays only.Con: NOT intuitive. It only has 3 buttons to set all those features, and since one button controls 3 different things it gets confusing fast. KEEP THE MANUAL, you will need it. I never struggle with this kind of thing and it still takes 15 minutes of fiddling to remember how to set a second alarm.Pro: Alarm is very effective at waking you up and you will want to turn it off immediately. Putting it across the room will get the heaviest sleeper out of bed.Con: It's effective because it is incredibly loud and obnoxious, and the volume can not be adjusted. Do NOT get this if you share a room with someone else, I guarantee they will hate you. I would advise against it even if you just share a wall.Pro: Light up feature makes it clearly readable after you've gone to bed and turned off the lights. It also only lights up in the dark so the battery is not wasted.Con: Can be too bright for some. This is a good clock for the other side of the room, not for sitting next to your face on a bedside table. It will keep you up if it's too close.Bonus: it is very cute and comes in a bunch of fun colors. In short I love this clock and it does exactly what I need it to. Just make sure it has the right features for you!

Wonderful Little Clock: Easy to Use, Awesome Features, and Reliable
This is just the best little alarm clock ever. I love that it runs on batteries, making it super portable and doesn't go out during power surges or outages. I love that it's adorable, but easy to read. It's also incredibly easy to figure out how to use, and comes with a clear and concise guide to getting it all set and ready to go. But the thing I love most? The two separate alarms! And the feature that lets me set them from Monday to Friday, Monday to Saturday, daily, or not at all. Holy cow, that's awesome. Alarm clocks have come a long way since I last bought one. I needed something that would coincide with my middle kiddos wake-up and bus arrival times, without me having to reset it, then reset it again. This did the job perfectly. I've had it for about a month and it has worked perfectly, with zero error or problems whatsoever. It may be silly to love an alarm clock this much, but I really do adore it. It made an otherwise burdensome chore a lot easier to perform. I'd buy this exact same one all over again if anything ever happens to this one. I love it. Thanks for a great product, well made!(And nope, I didn't get a discount to leave a review. I paid full price, and it was worth every penny. I'm honestly that happy with this little clock. Good stuff.)

Cute and Functional
It's very tiny and cute looking. It's simple to set up, and it works. I like that it's cordless, ad that I can make it so it has no light. I like sleeping in a pitch black room, so I appreciated the option to turn off the light on it completely instead of the dim mode.I bought this because the volume on my phone is malfunctioning, and as much as I love waking up to my music on my phone, I cannot risk missing work or college. One thing I dislike about this alarm clock is it automatically goes off on its own, and there's no way to set it up so it goes off until you physically press a button. Other than that, I like it very much!I will update this review if it breaks before I get a new phone. Hope this helped someone c:

Decent clock; they should have quit while they were ahead
I was compelled to buy a replacement for a 20-year old Casio travel alarm whose base I could no longer successfully crazy glue or epoxy back together. It wouldn't have been too much longer until the clock ran out of year settings to use when setting the date, anyway. This clock seemed to have the features I liked in the one I was replacing: battery operation, time, day, date, temperature and alarm. The size was a bit larger, which was something about which I was unsure whether I would like, dislike, or be indifferent. Since this is sold as a digital clock, not a travel alarm, however, that's neither here nor there. The price is also about what I originally paid for the travel alarm (not allowing for inflation). This clock actually has two alarms. It also functions as a night light, should you want that, which automatically turns on and off according to the ambient room light. According to the company representative, even with the night light function on, the batteries will last six months. Depressing the snooze bar turns the night light on *bright*, turning it into a dim, blue flashlight for several seconds, which is more than long enough to see the time, and is usually enough for me to find a sip of water, a remote control, or an actual flashlight. If it shuts off too soon, just hit the bar, again. As you can see in the illustration, the numerals for the time display are huge-- easily large enough to be seen from across a room. The numerals indicating the "temperature" and date, and the letters denoting the day, are, obviously, notably smaller. As I said, according to the manufacturer, if you use the night light feature, the batteries will wear out in about six months. I wasn't told precisely how long the batteries would last without using the night light; but, I was not led to believe that they would last very much longer. This was disappointing to me, because my old travel alarm ran for years on one set of batteries. I don't know how much more power the larger LCD display should really be drawing. The cost of batteries isn't so much an issue to me as the nuisance of the clock unexpectedly losing power. The one major disappointment for me with this clock is the thermometer: it is WILDLY inaccurate. I brought this up with the company representative; she replied that they intended to improve the thermometer in the future; but, I should keep in mind that the clock is not a "professional weather station." Neither was my Casio travel alarm-- or my digital watch-- but, they were still able to read an accurate temperature to within half a degree. This clock will make errors over five degrees (the largest I noticed before just ignoring the thermometer, altogether).I gave the clock the three stars I did because:Pro:* Large, easy to read time numerals* Bright night light (or dim, blue flashlight) you can optionally turn on with snooze bar or set to automatic sometimes comes in handy* Two alarms* Keeps time as well as any digital clockCON:Thermometer that really did figure into my purchase decision which is literally less accurate than a broken clock. Until they managed to get a thermometer that worked, at all, I believe that the manufacturer should have simply sold this as a clock without a temperature reading. As it is, with no expectation of accuracy, they might as well add blood test results and predictions of the future.
