Thomson Pottery 16-pc. Set Embossed Shell

Was so nervous when ordering that some of the dishes would be broken....not one was! Just love this set!! Simple, Beachy and can use to dress up a table or be casual. Color was just like the picture...bone color, not white. Like it so much, will be ordering another set or two!

I fell in love with these plates online and hesitated for months to get them for two simple reason. 1.) So many reviews say they had broken dishes. Seeing a few more recent reviews saying they are getting better I went ahead and got two ( 2.) also scared because someone else bought two sets and they were two different colors white and ivory).I watched my tracking and was extremely happy when I saw that they had arrived at my house so quickly WHICH IS WHY IT GOT ANY STARS. When I got home from work and saw the boxes on the porch; I think I may had have a mini heart-attack ( I'm 23 by the way). I actually went inside and grabbed my camera to take photos of the boxes before even touching them. Both boxes were crushed; and the Mail man even stacked them on top of each other! It looked like the leaning tower of crushed boxes. I took plenty of photos to show in my review, I did uploaded a few. So with a big breath for encouragement I took the first box in. To my surprise there was A LOT of packaging, it took me awhile to get to the actual box that had the dishes in it; and even that box was bubbled wrapped three times vertical and horizontally (the big bubble wrap too). The shipping box was double the size of the dish box, plenty of room for the exterior boxes to be mangled and the dishes wouldn't even know.BEALLS FLORIDA : PLEASE TAKE TIME AND PUT "FRAGILE" ON YOUR BOXES! Would probably help dishes not get mangled.All my dishes were unharmed, packaged the same way, AND the colors match in both sets. The plates are not copy paper white, I would say they are natural white (anyone who took ceramics knows the good stuff is never 100% white).I love the designs, you can easily see them but they are not so raised that food would get stuck in them. The cups are a good size, the bowls stack well, and my husband loves that they don't get too hot after they have been in the microwave (last set we had 1 minute in the microwave and you had to get an oven mitt to pull them out). We haven't had any chips or breakage yet.

I love these dishes!!!!! They came all in tact. They are the perfect size and weight. They stack nicely. I love the simple shell design. People say they are not white but they are much more white than odd white. Maybe just a slight bone/off white color, but to just look at them, they are white. Love them!

The dishes came in without any damage which was a problem for other reviewers. I ordered two sets and they were exactly what I wanted. The bowls are good size and so are the mugs. Plates are standard. Very happy with this purchase so far. I put all pieces in dishwasher and they all came out fine.

Just enough for one person in a small studio apartment. Not much storage space, so the set of 4 was just right. Pattern is nice. Dish washer safe too. Would purchase again.

I LOVE these dishes . I gave it 2 stars because 2 of the bowls arrived broken. I am in a bind because I am furnishing a rental home and renters are due next week, so no time to get a replacement. Such a shame.FWIW, last year I bought 4 sets of the Hampton pattern (same dishes in offwhite with brown accents) for another house and all arrived intact.Great product, but there is a good chance they will not all arrive intact

I ordered this 4 piece setting to add to one I have in same pattern that is white. The new set is a bone color NOT white. Buyer beware....

One bowl came broke but the company immediately sent me out another set.... great customer service.
