Solid, heavy hunk of maple but don't expect perfect condition
It's fine since I'm going to use it as a work bench. But, it arrived with all four corners beat up and a couple big dings in the surface. Packaging is just a cardboard wrap and a a piece of styrofoam the two grain ends. Terribly insufficient to keep it pristine.

Expect damage
Arrived cracked lengthwise and dinged on the corners. Just packaged in a single layer of cardb with a little styrofoam edging. For something this heavy it seems completely insufficient.
