I found the box to be beautifully carved. However the pieces were a disappointment. Very plain kinda cheap. it was like all the value was expended in the case/board. I had to order some ebay Chinese terracotta set. Great chess set
Beautiful chess set. A gift for our son who enjoys playing, especially with a real nice set like this one. I'm sureally he'll get lots of years with this set.

Horrible The board when laying flat is off centered I just received mine today and I'm just going to keep it and not even give it as a gift I am embarrassed. You can't even play chess on it because the board when played out don't close so there would be a huge crack in the middle of the game . Chips everywhere and so light I thought it would be heavier poorly made. Regret this purchase.
